Love my mighty hoops. I have the starter kit ( included the hooping station, infant station and the 5x5). I’ve used it for polos and jackets left chest logos as well as baby bibs, towels and even backpack pocket. Ready to order a few more. Thanks for the great tip on different sizes.

Thanks, I used your promo code for my free shipping, called MH and they answered all my questions, had the brackets for my machine, ordered the 5.5 starter system and plus 8x9 and freestyle for them. I would never use the old style hoop after trying these, so easy. I’m new to embroidery, watching your videos and Saturday morning live has helped me get up to speed quickly. I use the 5.5 and 6.5 The 6.5 for a larger logo for sizes 2XL and 3XL. I mainly embroider hoodies and some polos

Which weight of thread should be used on the embroidery machine as default?

40 weight polyester thread is the default thread. 60 weight for smaller, super detailed designs.

is this kit only for multi needle machines or can this be used for a single needle machine like the brother pe800 for example?

Hello, its not compatible for the brother pe800. Its for tubular arm machines and not flats beds.

Do you have a video on how to hoop properly with the mighty hoops? I have the station and use the 8x9 hoop, I hoop and embroider the shirt and it looks amazing but I do one for myself and I go wash and dry it to make sure it comes out the wash just as it did going in but it doesn’t and it doesn’t look good

That most likely is a stabilizer issue. Sometimes after a wash and drying, especially with cotton and natural materials, the fabric shrinks but the polyester threads don't so you get puckering. You might have to add stabilizer or have special laundry care such as air drying.

Thank you for replying! I mostly use 50/50 cotton polyester sweatshirts they say they are already preshrunk and I use 2 pieces of heavy weight cutaway stabilizer for every embroidery

Is there a difference in magnetic strength between a white & blue mighty hoop? I'm looking at getting the larger hoops to do jacket backs so want to make sure I have the strongest one for the job, thanks. 🤙🏽

There's no difference. Unless it's labeled as a lighter magnetic.

Can I use this for the bai embroidery machine?

Yes, this can be used with Bai machines. You can call Hoopmaster directly to select the proper model #’s. Their phone # is in the description. And they don’t have hat hoops, its all flat magnetic hoops.

How do you hoop the back of a flex fit cap?

I use the steel fast frame radius, with adhesive backing. I have a small round mighty hoop 4”?? But have never tried it, since I have a fast frame kit.

Hello, I use the Gen2 back hoop. The fast frames is pretty useful also. Maybe I'll make a video this week on the back and sides of hats.

I just put the hats on the included ricoma hat hoop backwards so the back of the hat was facing up. It works GREAT 👍
