My neighbor bought a SS Nova with a 396 packed into it. Gold exterior, black vinyl top and column shift. A real family guy, too. It had the 396 callouts on the front fenders.

I remember when Novas were common, even then, loved them. Obviously this is more rare. Great day two car.

My brother had a 1970 SS nova cranberry red with a black interior and bench seat 4-speed I loved that car I tried to borrow it as munch as I could which was not often.

Let's go all the way with the tag, so we can brag: ST71 for 1971 model year, 11427 for V8 Nova two door sedan, WRN for Willow Run, MI assembly, 752 for Black cloth bench vinyl seat interior trim, 53 for Placer Gold lower exterior paint, B for black vinyl top, 02A for the first week of February 1971 production, and I believe the other codes at the bottom of the tag may refer to steering column and possibly carpet codes or other body related codes. We got the VIN, we win: 1 for Chevrolet, 14 for V8 Nova, 27 for two door sedan, 1 for 1971 model year, W for Willow Run, MI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Willow Run facility was located at 2625 Tyler Road and operated as an assembly plant from 1959 to 1993 and then for a time was a GM parts distribution plant. Guthrie Motors was located at 1405 N. Osage Blvd in Nevada, MO and this is Max Motors Chevrolet-Buick-GMC today.

There was one in my high school back in the early 80s that color and had Cragars and Lakewood traction bars. Great looking car.

My wife had a 70 Nova SS i t was red with black vinyl top no power steering but had power brake no A/C 300 horsepower and that was back in 1980 she had it pretty cool car

I had one, the plate under hood rated my 350 at 365 hp with an M22 Muncie and posi rear end

Had a 72 Nova but it certainly didn't look like this!! Mine was rust city!

Thats a surprise to watch this video and see where the window sticker on this car states that it is from cause thats my hometown and its not pronounced like the state even though they are spelled exactly the same Nevada i mean

those hose clamps on the fuel lines are not proper fuel line clamps
