First car I drove was my Dad's '71 Javelin SST. 360 engine. Similar exterior to the car seen here but Cherry red with the white side stripes. Beautiful thick corduroy seats. Lot's a great memories!

There were two 6.6 Liter V-8s that were equipped in the Trans Am. If it had the 400 cubic inch V-8, it was a Pontiac engine. If it had a 403 cubic inch V-8, it was an Oldsmobile engine

Hi Steve looking good my friend.... my friends dad had a 66 GT in turquoise... he used to take his three sons and me to the santa cruz beach boardwalk in the 70s in that car... we'd ride the rollercoaster non stop as it never seemed too busy when we were there.. anyway my friends older brther still has the car and it looks as good as it did back then.. keep on keepin on👍thanks for sharing

Hey Steve it’s good to see you again. When I was young and dumb I owned a 70 Cuda mine was a 340 convertible lemon twist yellow black top and interior. It had the hockey stick decal on the side. Cool car. Didn’t keep it long Probably a good thing

In 1972 my sister bought a 1972 Chevelle SS 454 4speed. that was one cool car I was about 13 at the time. it was a dark brown with gold SS stripes I haven't seen another one like it since. thanks for sharing this beauty with us. it really good to see you up and sharing your knowledge again

I was about to buy this car off Hemmings. I noticed the 426 Hemi Badges on the hood. It's a steal at 55 grand. Even with the 426 Hemi crate engines. Then he popped the hood which shows a 440. What a fraud.

When you do another video, please show the number on the dash that tells the number of production in line for that year. My 68 AMX Is 365 numbered car made that year.

Nice car. Actually ALL 1969 Mercury Cougars had the big block shock reinforcements. Every one of them. ALL Cougars were V8s. Only performance Mustangs had the BB shock towers.
