people talk about Yeezy or Off-White ebing overpriced but I feel at least there is a high standard/weight and qualtiy to their items. From what I've experienced from FOG it is not the same. Agree with what others are saying with them moving with the times too

Dev D Fog is a diffusion line of fear of God and it's made a lot cheaper, the quality isn't the same as the mainline, I'm not a huge fan of most of Jerry's designs either way.

The fact that he only does one collection a year and it takes forever to get the pieces on pre order just puts a lot of people off the brand. His pieces are essentially just a collection of wardrobe basics, which isn't a bad thing but it also doesn't create any excitement. Add to this that Jerrybois have ruined the brands image to a certain extent, it's no longer a "cool" brand when you see kids wearing the pieces and dressing the same as every other Jerryboi clone.

I love this dude, love his vibe, and his vision and a lot of his cloths are dope as individual pieces but honestly his whole esthetic is jus not my vibe, like a full FOG outfit, horrible, it's more of an individual piece kind of brand.

It’s about quality, the story behind the piece and availability among other things. I understand that the price might be intimidating but u can always use the brand for inspiration, that’s what I do.

People saying Fear of God is dead, were you even able to purchase one piece or you didn’t have the money so you have to put hate on the brand? I know people will say the typical “it’s a trash brand” or some bs. Facts, most people hating couldn’t even afford a piece of the clothing and I’m not talking about the Essentials line. “Provide the kids what they’ve been asking for” but then charging a $1000 so they can’t afford it. Walking contradiction, there’s a lot of duplication in the interview that shows the false prophecies in his approach to fashion. Essentially there’s no innovation but duplication - it’d be great if he just owned that rather than claiming to be innovative.

The problem with FOG is that it is so easily replicated at cheaper price points that I cannot tell the difference b/w the real and the fakes for some of the items. Also, FOG quality has gotten a better as of late but initially it was sorely lacking so it might as well have been fake anyway and that did not instill any confidence. The price can stay exactly where it is, but the reality is attention spans are so short that the audience will have moved on soon anyway and he really is not innovating at this point. He seems very unsure of himself in this interview, but appreciate his effort.
