You will get aunthetic variety of misal in kolhapur. You should try that. In the name of misal they forgetting what is actual aunthetic misal is. Gulab jamun, chaas (ताक), masala पापड doesn't include in misal.

Hotel Jagdamba is much better than this overpriced hotel. Do visit it. Also visit Sinhagad Fort near Jagdamba Hotel in Shivpur, Pune !

I think the food is kept on table for advertisement purposes. A real person is going to order what he/she can eat. It his case, may be the camera man joins after shooting the video to eat.

I dont know somehow looking at the preparation I am feeling like it wont have the authentic taste, I may be wrong but food is not sending right wibes... the masala papad in misal is like biryani served with Sambar, totally out of place.. I will prefer more traditional places, rather than place like this which is decorated like a village but food seems to be too cosmopolitan...

Only Displaying Marathi food does not serve the purpose, you need to eat the cuisines in a typical way, misal has to be mixed with other ingredients.

During My visit to kolhapur I was a regular Visitor at 7/12. Good ambience and services but rate is not affordable to common people.

Thumb rule for eating misal, if your misal plate contains alot more than just misal and pav ypur misal definitely sucks ass! More the things, more shit the misal! And Yes i am a certified self proclaimed misal expert!
