And that we can't stay kids and innocent forever, so she traps herself into the world where they stay kids forever. Her perfect reality. She also sprints faster when she sees the reflection of her younger self. We'll see :p

opening animation explanation: as you see all characters are set in pairs shion & mion keiichi & rena satoko & rika keiichi being just a toss in the chessboard which is obvious rn, especially first season obviously related to the fragments (refering to electro animation part) satoko & rika trying to get back their friendship being ruined by featherine, whenever the hand is reached out, the cycle will continue, and so will the maze & game the paronoid feelings and trauma will get stronger as they hope for an escape through all the unknown faces hiding things they might not even know already rika closing her eyes means she has been deactivated, satoko opening her eyes means she is activated i start to see a lot of similarities in my game project, and i do envy these creators having speed ahead slightly, despite how neat this all is and how much i'm enjoying to see all this

I'm guessing that Higurashi Sotsu shows how Frederica Bernkastel will be born from the corpse of Rika's dream to live beyond 1983. I await the episode that will be titled, "Birth Ceremony of the New Witch", 『新たな魔女の誕生式』『Arata na majo no tanjōshiki』.

But it is, there is this underlying misunderstanding though just like in the original... The element is still there... Higurashi is not your typical "power of friendship" though, you really have to earned that power to win in this series
