I just think of her primary role as offensive ranged AOE (melee), and then when she has to she switches to being a defender. But I like her kit, her story and character, her design... Instant pull! Edit: I think that being versatile in this manner suits her lore being a military commander. Main role is command and control while still being part of the elite team. She'd be pretty up there in any military. Also if you think about it Saria/ other 6 star ops are as crazy as her, but choose to seal off part of their kit when 'working for Rhodes Island'.

Not sure if i would call it a second surtr, considering how wacky her range is. And how outside of CC and annihilation. Certain maps dont really have fit for her niche use. And by also the fact she deals physical dmg where certain, if not most enemies have the most resistent of. (I know the comment you made is sarcastic pls dont hurt m-)

She doesnt have that high damage tough as her total damage is just 30k compared to surtrs 90k And surtr has immortality where she cant die but horn infact can as its a revive And horn costs significantly higher has weirder range and sp costs are not the same She is no where near surtr

You could still benefit from Skalter s2 though. Just use Horn S1 for more consistent damage or just put her away from Skalter to active her self-damage then, use only seaborn summon to buff Horn.

@@yuurina5092 I don't think so, S3 has a wider spectrum of scaling compared than s2, for many reasons, but shortly: >Scales aspd which boosts dmg tremendously >S3 scales with Horn talent 2,18 aspd is very good added to S3 aspd buff. >S3 means way more shots, means you apply atkbuffs more times, greatly boosting damage. >S3 lasts longer, can cover longer waves and not being tied to a number of shots means less dmg wasted on overkill. The point is, S3 has a big ass vertical scaling that S2 sadly doesn't have, while S2 main quirk is the insane burst that's good to pick enemies off, for example, you can stun an enemy with W S3 and fire the remaining horn bullets while enemy is stunning taking the massive dmg boost from W's Talent(did this today, it's fun as hell Lol). Worth noting S2 does 60% arts dmg in overdrive which can be good in niche situations, but 60% is sadly very low, if it was 100% would have been criminal tbf

Explosives are fairly cheap and simple. Penetration rounds are much rarer outside of Laterano as they have complex Originium arts mechanisms to use etched bullets with. Its explained in depth in the Operation Originium Dust event if you look up the transcript (Its somewhere around OD-5)

Yeah I paid for getting GG in like 12 pulls, 60 on Horn and I only got an Angie dupe (okay) and an Exia dupe (not okay)

Goldenglow was significantly stronger than her Her weird range and dp cost makes her hard to use on most scenarios Not sure why people started over exxagrating her strengths all of a sudden

Yeah I've found I use Skill 2 a lot more, especially as I don't need a nuker. I like the consistent damage of her skill 2. I know all of the bullets will hit something at least. I find skill 3 more situational

You wouldn't be wrong as she's quite a solid M9 candidate alongside Saria. If only I'm not prefarming Spalter I'd work on M9 Horn rn

I'm also new, less than 3 months. She is probably the top contender for M9. S2 is niche, not bad. Most of the time you'll be using s3. I've cleared 2 full chapters (6 and 7) using her on every map and i had no need to use anything else but S3.

@@STREEEEEET Good for you, but I’ve had success using her S2 on maps where the high defense but boys come out really early and high in number, and I need a defender, and an AOE attacker and don’t have enough DP to place both, so I just used her S2. My point is that her S2 isn’t really niche. It’s useful, I’m not saying more useful than her S3, but people talk as if it’s useless and never to be used.

@@personperson8563 You got a point there because i also have ling and i only drop Horn after ling dragons are also on the field, so she is never tanking. However i'll copy past her analysis on the most complete and famous Arknight website, you'll see they speak highly about her S2. I don't think people treat as if it's useless. _Horn is an extremely powerful unit, but also a very expensive one. She is perhaps the strongest M9 candidate when considering her relatively meta value with all of her skills giving different and valuable niches and all of them having pretty strong damage increases over Mastery._ _Aside from the S1M1 breakpoint, if you only Mastered one skill, it should be her S3. It is her skill with both the highest total damage and her highest DPS and the one you'll be using overall most of the time. It has very high grades by being the best skill on a meta unit, but there isn't too much nuance with it either. Big attacks go boom._ _Nuance settles in after that with there being a division between S1 in S2 for the best secondary target. Most polling shows S2 is the more popular choice which is understandable since it's also a powerful nuke skill. However I would favor S1M3 as the secondary Mastery choice if you don't want to do the full M9. While S2 has some valuable niches over S3 that most definitely makes it a worthy consideration, the two skills do have a lot of overlap. S1 meanwhile has a more unique niche in giving her a very strong sustain, better scaling, and utility which are all very valuable in both IS and SSS._ _As said, Horn is an extremely viable M9 candidate, but that is an expensive proposition for your average player. So the ultimate suggestion for Horn is to grab S1M1 and S3M3. If you like her and find yourself using her a lot, grab S1M3 next, and if you really like her, grab S2M3 as well._
