Gothamchess deserves a round of applause for his insane work ethic. Watching 6 hour games and immediately putting out videos recapping and condensing them all is crazy. Watching this video, I was able to understand the Pragg and Vidit games a lot more.

@@vincelopez756nah, it's not big difference between bxh2 and nc5 immediately. Position doesn't change much except black doesn't take a pawn, so if you prepared against bxh2 you can basically play the same way against nc5. It's clear Prag doesn't have it in him to become a world champion just like Fabi. These type of players are fully dependent upon their prep but once the game gets outside of their prep they don't know how to convert unless the position is clearly winning.

Love these recaps - it’s nice to actually have someone concisely go through the games and talk about standings so we don’t have to watch 7 hours of chess.

This guy keeps you on the edge of your seat for 35 minutes. This is what I like about people who absolutely know a lot about their craft and who are able to communicate it because it allows you as a neophyte not only to understand what is going on but to enjoy it. Thank you, man.
