A brief recap of my hike through Bohemian Switzerland National Park and the beautiful Pravcicka Brana Gate. In this video you'll learn how to get to Bohemian Switzerland from Prague as well as what you can expect out of this hike.
The old land of Bohemia has a very rich history and is surrounded by a gorgeous landscape with mountains and greenery as far as the eyes can see!

How was the crowd? I saw a video where the lady was alone all by herself throughout the hike which was scary. We would like to have some crowd when doing the hike.

Glad I found your channel! I’m thinking of doing this on Christmas Eve this year! on my detour to Prague from Berlin 🤣 ( I know I sound like I’m doing a lot 🤷🏽‍♀️ ) any advice you can give about doing this solo in winter?

Hey Sheliese! I'm glad you found the page too! And that sounds like an awesome trip. So if you're going on xmas eve and you're doing a day trip then I'd leave really early in the morning because it'll take about 2 hours to get there and you want to have time there before it gets dark. Or If you have the time stay the night before your hike or the night of. Also bring enough Czech cash. I'd say 250 krowns which is like 10 US dollars. They have really cool boat rides to go across bodies of water and getting to other parts of the mountain but it costs like 20 krowns each. I didn't do it because of time. Also you need like 5 krowns for the bus. When you get off the train in Dečin you should go to the info center next to the Station and ask them all your questions and they'll hook you up! Of course bundle up in the winter. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any specific questions!

I didn't even hate/eat the restaurant food. It looked good though. I usually bring snacks on hikes. But it's just the sight of a bar, restaurant, and all these concrete platforms at the mountaintop makes it feel less natural to me. It's a really convenient feature and is a positive for most people I'm sure. Personally, I think less is more in this case. Thanks for watching bro!
