Beginning at 6:58 am, as I leave my hotel in central Monterrey and walk down Av Francisco I. Madero on my way to the Cuauhtémoc metro train station. Where I ride to the end of line 2 and depart from the Exposicion metro station. Metro train cost $4.50 Peso ($0.24 USD).
From there (Exposicion Metro Station) I go left, then right, as I walk down Exposicion Av. As the road gets near some bridges, I turn right onto Las Torres, as it curves around. For awhile there is a sidewalk down the medium. According to Google map this road changes names to Puesta del Sol. When walking I never payed attention to the street name.
Continue on this road until it goes under a major road. At that point, turn left. Now your walking on Av Eloy Cavazos. The road curves and you'll soon see a pedestrian overpass. Cross over it, and backtrack on the opposite side of the road.
You'll see a small convenient store with a road next to it going up into the hills. That's the street you'll need. The trailhead is at the top of the hill.
About half way up to the antenna, there is an overlook.
When you reach the antenna, go along the edge on the right side, to get to the great view.
