In this video I'm hiking the Cumbria Way, a captivating 73-mile journey through Cumbria's stunning and varied landscapes. This enchanting trail connects the historic town of Ulverston with the equally historic city of Carlisle, guiding you through majestic mountains, serene lakes and tarns, lush woodlands, glacial valleys, and riverside paths.

Thanks for this video as many people have said it is very poorly signposted and this is the part of the route I was wary about Can’t wait to go and definitely taking my map Regards Jeff

Thanks for watching, it's not too bad, just navigating around all the farmland is where you need to keep an eye on the map. I used the OS app on my phone. I hope you enjoy the trail. Cheers!

Amazing that a long distance path through one of the most popular hiking areas in England is so poorly sign-posted. I did the Coast to Coast many years ago and some of the signage was less than great - but I am sure it was improved by now due to its popularity. Great video - hope you enjoyed the walk.

Yeah it looked like the signage hadn't been updated in a long time. Other than that (and the last bit into Carlisle) the trail was great and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching, the next video is almost finished, so look out for that :) Cheers!
