@@GolfMates I have been watching Pete's swing for years now but he over swings a little and takes the club head too far back and then struggles to get it to square up on contact and/or delofts at contact because the club head is always playing catch up. That might help explain some of the worm burners too. A sure sign of an over swing is when you cannot remain balanced, and Pete often takes a little step and has to readjust his feet for balance after contact. He should try stopping his back swing at the top when the shaft of the club is parallel to the ground to form a straight line as if it were the hands of a clock, to be pointing the club head at three and the end of the shaft at nine, as opposed to ten and four or eleven and five. Part of it might be that he does not realise just how far back he takes the club head, so it might be an idea to start with half swings and three-quarter swings until he can finally feel and have an idea when the shaft is parallel to the ground at the top of his swing.

Came down from outside Glasgow today to play carus green, what a course!!!!got 12 holes in before the rain absolutely chucked it down would love to come back in the summer. The work big g has done on the course is incredible, sublime
