She definitely would have won if she opened up more. I know that much. But she got so much shit for being honest, then putting a wall up, back and forth. And the the crap going against her. Just a ridiculous no win situation that should never have even started. She would have been a great president.

I have always had respect for her , and because of her brilliant mind, and being the over achieving , successful woman that she is ....to keep it real she has always intimidated me and almost seems not “human”.....after hearing her speak ..... I LOVE HER ! I learned soooo much from this interview. She is kind, compassionate, has a huge heart ,she is funny, she cares , she loves this country, she is sooo cool, respectful of others, classy and the list goes on. This interview was incredible. Perhaps the best I’ve heard on this show. This is certainly the culmination of the great interviews Howard has done. It’s all led up to this moment. Here’s a remarkable woman, largely misunderstood, who worked for and was prepared for serving the country but was faced with constant criticism over not being human enough. This is the president I voted for. It’s sad that she had that internal conflict where she couldn’t quite be herself, and it cost her. Excellent job Howard. And thank you Hillary for everything.

I will echo what a lot of people have mentioned in the comments below that this was a great interview. Props to Howard, he has a way to just making it interesting by his curiosity to learn and understands people. I think that interviews like this introduces candidates in a completely different way to the public. I think people crave authenticity and political candidates are too calculated in their presentation that interviews like this would never really happen in a political election. The closest I've seen to this in a political election is the Joe Rogan podcast where he had Bernie and Tulsi on the show. It gives people much more time than a 30 second sound bite to talk through their policies, the complexities of the American landscape and more importantly to just be real people to the public. I agree she would have made a good president. Lets be honest, no one is perfect but she has a wealth of experience and an intelligent lady

Exactly, we need more real talk. Less of "the show". These interviews are much more telling than the pre-programmed 60 second soundbite of mainstream news. Kudos to Hillary and Howard on this one.

Trump should be impeached just for the hate he’s unleashed on her from the poor white men of America who need an enemy because they can’t cope with not being able to support their families so blaming someone else is easier then learning a new trade and moving on ! @@anag5197 Believe me... I am American, and I am equally stunned/sickened/perplexed. On a daily basis. As are all of the people I interact with. The thing that make most of us the most distraught is the thought that half of our fellow brothers and sisters voted for someone so obviously full of hate and completely nuts. It is honestly hard to be out in public with this reality in our heads. I mean, Really?? There were that many of you who thought voting for this poor excuse of a human being was a valid choice? Someone so vile and full of hate? How are we any further evolved than in the days of slavery and the holocaust? And what do we tell our young children?? What kind of world (country) are they seeing? It's really a nightmare. Growing up and through my younger adulthood, supporting different candidates from one another was merely a small segment of one's whole. A differing of priorities or viewpoints. Now... Now it is a difference in MORALS. A difference in honesty. It has resulted in a very deep divide between our citizens. It has permanently changed--or ended--relationships with one another. We see one another differently. It now divides many of us at the core of what we hold dear and true. So so sad...

I think too many people base their vote on personality, as opposed to qualifications. This is the most important job in the world,. If you were going to hire someone to run your company, would you hire a knowledgeable, competent, hard worker? or someone that's entertaining? Neither HRC or Al Gore are particularly inspiring speakers - or at least not to the same level as Obama or Bill Clinton. But I think both would have been excellent presidents. And the US would be in much better shape today had they won.

You're kidding right?!? She's a warmongering, profiteering, criminal elitist! This is the most phony, repugnant, disingenuous interview I've ever seen. Howard couldn't have possibly kissed her ass any more than he did. All softball questions! Not one single question of any value. how about asking her about Benghazi, how about her emails she deleted, how about all the Kickbacks she's getting from Paid speeches paid for by people she enacted beneficial legislation for, how about anyting but softball questions intended on making her look good. What a phony POS Howard has turned out to be. Money has ruined him! He's nothing but a oligarch himself now, towing the line for other rich, corrupt politicians. He thinks, acts, and sounds like an elitist phony who is completely out of touch with the average American.

shellycarter97 I just don’t understand why people are so over the moon about this interview. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great interview but she has told these stories time and time and time again. This is the same woman that ran for president twice. She was yelling, waving her, and everything else trying to get people to understand that the crazy trump show may be great for a 24 hour news cycle based on entertainment more than information. Like she talked about how we needed to get ready for all the artificial intelligence coming down the pipeline and all the automation already here. Yet no one listened. Now Yang is running on it and people are acting like he cured cancer. Like I just don’t get it

Thank you Howard for having the “guts” to interview one of the most “gutsy” woman I have come to admire even more. You really did do a fantastic job. As a viewer, I am walking away peaceful, inspired and not wanting this interview to end. I remain proud to say that I voted for Hillary in 2016 and your interview further substantiated why......And on another note, I like the person you are becoming, it’s a good look🙂

I have a completely different opinion of her since watching this AWESOME interview. What a brilliant woman. If only she had done this interview during the campaign!

What Stern said at the end is 100 percent correct. We did miss out on a GREAT PRESIDENT. She is so intelligent and interesting.

This woman is so intelligent and articulate! It hurts my heart that we missed the chance to have her experience and tenacity in the White House. We need her on the world stage representing us.

What a missed opportunity. Fantastic interview. I, as a non American had somehow formed a completely mistaken opinion about her. Turns out she's an exceptional human being. To think the world ended up with an incompetent fool like Trump in charge of the most powerful country of the world. What a loss. Loved every minute of this extremely long interview.

Agree....I tried very hard to tell people over here that she was amazing and had crazy experience, but so many people let the years/ decades of the right beating on her reputation get to them. They were demonizing her since governors' wife days..... they knew she would aim high.
