This man's self-discipline and pride in doing his job correctly saved a life. I've got guys that won't wear a hard hat unless you're standing right behind them, and this guy checks his cameras every time. That's awesome.

This is absolutely correct. The sanitations worker's type of work ethic and dedication to his responsibilities should serve as a reminder to the rest of us that any job worth doing is worth doing well. "There are no small parts, only small actors."

Great job by the driver for actually doing his job of paying attention and watching his truck's camera instead of his cell phone. Kudos!

Newer garbage trucks should have surveillance cameras, because there have been hundreds of casualties of people almost getting crushed and getting crushed by the compactors in the garbage truck.

HOOORAYYY for the Sanitation Worker for checking his camera after EVERY can picked up like they are supposed to do...others would have probably just crushed then moved on.

Dude follows protocol, saves a life. Protocol and procedures may seem annoying but they are not always createin anticipation but because of reaction to a bad outcome. Good on him.

watch y'all damn kids please. This could of been it for him. Everyday in Florida i get notifications of a missing child. Like the parents just blow my mind about how nonchalant they are with their child.

I have always wondered if this kind of thing has ever happened. You can tell the operator is not your typical American otherwise that poor child would have been gone.
