The AAO rig has gone through some growing pains over the years but now she's finally how I always imagined her......the ultimate touring machine.

Very neat mate👍 thanks for sharing and giving ideas on how & what to do on the n70.

Absolute pleasure mate. Thank you for the positive feedback 🍻

Top run down mate, very neat build. I think my N70 should have 300kg constant load, my Fulcrum 400kg is rough as guts when loaded and towing or empty. Your inside canopy lights are awesome, putting some in my camper as well.

Thanks for the feedback mate :) Yeah the spring rates in the Hilux were perfect. SUPER comfortable all the time 👌

Mate, whould you be able to do another video showing how you run your diff breather kit? I got struggled with the gearbox and transfer case. Cheers

I would but unfortunately have since sold the Hilux mate. New build coming soon

Hey mate, great build, and looks immaculate. How did you black out all the chrome? It looks very well done.
@AllAussieOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate, I appreciate the positive feedback. Chrome delete was done using “plasti-dip”. This stuff is magic as it’s hard wearing and if you need to re do it you just peel it off and start again

Nice rig! Did you have to chop the body mounts to fit 285 75 R16 with a 2 inch only???
@AllAussieOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Nope. No chopping necessary 👌

Hi nice build! I have arb drawers my self on my hilux. I was wondering what water valve you are using that you said you bought at Bunnings?
@AllAussieOutdoors11 ай бұрын
It’s actually a washing machine water tap haha

Hi mate .. how is the maintenance on this 3.0. Any idea how this compared with the 2.5 model in terms of performance both long drive and off-road? Appreciate your sharing .
@AllAussieOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Hey mate. Thanks for the comment. In terms of maintenance I always serviced myself and any major “by the books” work was done by my mechanic at the correct intervals. Every 10,000kms I did all filter, oil change, grease drive line and rotate tyres. Did that for 180,000kms and NEVER missed a beat 👌👌 No idea how it compares to the 2.5 model. Sorry bud

Hey mate I’m buying a 2014 SR5 next week looks exactly like yours ! I see they don’t come with rear diff lock so how does it run without it ? Is it best to get it installed or ?
@AllAussieOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
100% depends on what you plan to do with it mate. For what I do and the tracks I go on, one would be handy but not 100% necessary. If you plan on getting stuck into the more gnarly stuff then yeah definitely worth looking into 👌
@keagangarrow1522 жыл бұрын
@@AllAussieOutdoors yeah nah definitely man I just want it for simple camping in bush/ beaches if I’m honest and don’t wanna thrash it so probably won’t need it unless I’m planning on going on rough tracks !

@@keagangarrow152 yeah mate sounds like it could be money well spent elsewhere 😉
