Jackie Reyes Of course it's my opinion, but if you want to talk facts I'm down for that too. Look at album sales, concert attendance, and you'll see HIM isn't as hot as they used to be. "B-b-but popularity means nothing! It's all about the quality of the music" That's fine and all, but HIM hasn't been able to release anything impressive in over a decade now. Outside of a few key tracks here and there, they've never been to capture the magic they had pre Dark-Light. Not to mention that Ville's voice has gone to shit from all the years of smoking, so there isn't much of a chance that HIM is going to be releasing anything exceptional in the future. I think most HIM fans would agree that Ville's voice is one of the highlights of the music, it sets it apart from the rest of the generic emo metal out there. Now that his voice is pretty terrible, HIM has just become just another angsty metal band for the teens. The last album they released was short and a quarter of it was filler insrumentals. And this was their comeback album lol. I can keep on going with the reasons why HIM sucks now, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to snap you out of your fangirlism. It's really sad to say, as I've been a fan of this band since 2004, but these re-releases are going to be the last HIM related thing I'll be excited for, and I'm sure many other old-time fans would agree.
