HIMALAYAN HARD CLUTCH FIX ??? | DIY ANY BIKE

Hi All,
This video is all about how to fix hard clutch on Himalayan. Since We all have been facing since I have bought and one day I found one of mechanic using this trick on my bike to fix this issue and since then I use to make regular maintenance of my clutch cable using this process. I hope this trick will help you to fix ur issue.

Hi.. at first when I saw your video I thought your idea was BS*.. But I was also desperate to fix my clutch and without any other choice for the day before my long ride i decided to follow the steps in your video... And I was so surprised that the clutch cable was actually lighter like a brand new motorcycle.. Thank you for your tip in this video... I apologise that I doubted you and I'm glad it all worked well.

Hello friend, I clicked on your video because the title is in English, but I don't speak any (I'm guessing) Hindi, except Dhanye Bhat. Maybe it would be a good idea to include the language in the title, for non-Indian KZfaqrs. Having got that out of the way, thanks for the video, I like the way you tied the plastic bag, I did the same with cardboard and tape and WD40 the other day, but your way is better. Also, a friend has recommended normal engine oil with the addition of a small amount of petrol to make it flow better, the petrol evaporates and leaves the oil in place. Diesel seems like a good idea. धन्यवाद

Thanks for sharing DIY video. I fully agree with you regarding cleaning and lubing clutch cable. Shouldn’t take more that 15 mins. Riding would be that much more enjoyable 👏👍

Just increase length of the clutch actuation lever. And re bend the clutch cable stopper plate.

Have you tried using some of the "dry" lubes to prevent the regular lubes making everything sticky and then dirty? (Is your chain lube a dry lube?)

I hav tried MOTUL chain lube for lubing clutch wire but, after using it what I experienced was oil lubes clutch wire better and it last long. Any dry line will give u results for only few KM's ride but oil line lasts long. And every time I lube the wire with oil I make sure I wipe excessive oil with cloth so that stickiness won't be there . Stay tune I will be making new video on clutch wire for best alternative to make clutch very light

If you are worried about stickiness.. use 90 gear oil, it doesn't attract much dirt, and also doesn't dry up quickly

Check out the thread on Triumphrat T120 tubeless conversion. I did my T100 Bonneville with Loctite 290 and 3M 4412 tape. Many people have used many different materials successfully. Preparation is the key. You may wish to consider the fact that the Himalayan doesn't have safety beads inside the wheelrims. This does not bother me, but some people think it may not be safe to do a tubeless conversion on this type of wheel.

There many things responsible for heating u should figure out real problem first, try changing engine oil to MOTUL or Castrol

This process is not advisable at all., Clutch cable having diff kind of lube and it's better to change it...I hope people who buy Himalayan can afford changing cable on its due course. Regarding "Gandagi" Bhai open space me hogi where it is exposed but you removed sealant cover also...not good at all.
