I finally got a Hinderer Project X of my own thanks to my friend @ jblade4 on Instagram. I'll be swapping the stock odg g10 scale with a textured battle blue one.

Nice pickup. That xm Bowie stole the show though 😂. I don’t know what it is about Hinderer bowies but they just look so darn good!

Nice video. I have a Project X, and it has become my favorite Hinderer knife. I have used nylon washers in some of my Hinderers without a flipper tab since I like the feel of them better than bearings. I do know that in order to use either nylon of PB washers, you do need to use the provided spacers. For reference, check out Rick Hinderer's introductory video to the Triway system. I do not use oil on them. They are basically self lubricating, but I do use a little teflon grease. To my mind, this provides the smoothest action.

Thanks. I never run bearings. I used to use aftermarket pb washers on my old gen hinderers. I'm a new convert to Teflon.

aww yeah, Looks good! I love battle blue.i just grabbed an hh ti scale for mine on Friday. Mine has the red G10 which i havent minded as much.

Good stuff Chuck. I dig the new scale - I had better luck with the color combo, otherwise I’d be hunting for that same one. Excellent design, begging for a stud.

They usually make a bunch in each g10 scale, so every lockside gets every g10 scale; It isnt random. I like how this one looks, trying to be a good boy, no new ish for me.

I didn't think it was random, that was more of a tongue in cheek comment. Suffice it to say that some color combos look better than others. So hard to be good lol
