I was never big on Hinderer knives, mostly due to their aesthetics and thick edge. However, this one is a home run for me. Love the blade geometry, high grind, and how the handle is shaped so the blade fits closer in hand. Solid review. Subscribed.

I was hoping Hinderer would have been working on something more innovative. This is a XM-18.5 with a tool & Cold Steel American Lawman influence. I own a Full Track, BPU XM-24, and 4 XM-18’s (varying blades). I like Hinderers. But $500?! I don’t know. What will help sell it is the textured Ti lock side.

Yah Hinderer made another plain, basic, non contoured folding prybar that kinda cuts ok. 30 thou bte, what. Atleast put a hollow grind on it so it can actually cut something. Just my dumb ass opinion i know and i do get it but just not for me.

Hinderer makes some amazing looking blades but the way he treats his customers is God awful. It's a shame he doesn't stand behind his products as much as others do

@@ScreaminpirateEDC it really saddens me man. I've had some unfortunate things happen with me. I had a xm18 I bought at blade one year. Not even an hour in of leaving the Cobb to go to my hotel to change and dropped it. Blade broke. Went back to the booth to talk to Rick about it and he got all belligerent with me that I defiled his knife. They don't do blade replacements regardless of what caused it. Rob Orlando got between us and handed his own xm18 out of his pocket. He apologized and could tell it was a genuine mistake. I still have that blade and the broken one.

@@e.r9111 Wow, that is a really rough interaction. Personally, Rick and his head of operations were not very happy when I had feedback and concerns about the automatic. Nothing compared to your interaction.
