Im actually from Des Moines (their hometown) and really enjoy the reaction vids, i always get a kick out of people checking them out for the first time, as your viewer said "dont try to make out the lyrics" just wanted to say, believe it or not, the lyrics one of the most powerful things about this band so if you ever get time, look up these songs with lyrics, threw a sub, keep up the great work, really enjoyable

Fun fact: part of the reason for the jumpsuits and masks besides looking cool and creepy and to alienate their identities from their music was to make them hot, sweaty, miserable and overall pissed off all the time to conjure more anger and hatred to channel into their music.

and as far as the masks go, each album, every member has variations of their masks but pretty much the same until new albums drop, they like to change them up a bit with new music FYI

You can hear the lyrics it’s no different a hard to make out scream vocal to when I have a hard time breaking apart the words in hip hop when a vocalist is raping fast don’t bash and say he can’t hit lyrics you do hip hop not metal so don’t think you know what your talking about also if your looking for clear lyrics look for a studio recording and if you have any questions of musical talent of Slipknot you should have also played snuff by Slipknot and probably the many other albums that have been coming o it since the 90s and still are popular and if you look at hip hop artists thats a lot more years than more that 3/4 of popular hip hop artists and if you guys are the people that teach people on how to become a better hip hop artist than how come your giving poor judgment on a genre that has older artists from the 90s and 80s still having top of their genre albums and trying to say anything when the genre you teach is mainly people making it big on one or two songs or albums
