He made great points. How can we cry when Nipsey dies but continue supporting music that promotes the lifestyle that killed him? I knew that I'd be part of the minority by choosing to not glorify death and negativity in my music. HipHop can be used to uplift, educate, and empower, so why do we use it to celebrate destruction? I refuse to use my gift to mislead the youth. Let's get back to making art.💪🏾💯👑

Anything that isn't gospel music is considered to be devil music back in the day.. that means r&b & jazz... You have violence before hip-hop. Gangsta rap is not hip-hop... Dee is too young to know what he's talking abt. Instead of going to the root which are the Chinese & Jews who fund hip-hop he's picking soft targets that's a knee jerk reaction for blk ppl.. point the finger at the artist but not their environment... Sure, music can affect a person's mood but not to a degree where it can transform someone's personality and cause them to do something that they wouldn't have done if they hadn't listened to a particular song or style of music!! That's not science, that's science fiction! Music has a superficial effect at most! Lastly, negative music isn't causing or forcing a person to be violent. The music just glorifies violent behavior.
