I knew that I'd be part of the minority by choosing to not glorify death and negativity in my music. HipHop can be used to uplift, educate, and empower, so why do we use it to celebrate destruction? Anything that isn't gospel music is considered to be devil music back in the day.. that means r&b & jazz... You have violence before hip-hop. Gangsta rap is not hip-hop... Dee is too young to know what he's talking abt.
