Sir you spoke nothing but facts here!!!, this was such a good reaction all of them are completely amazing but with the twins their pen game is off the charts! For me particularly with Taj I noticed his incredible vocabulary and wording in his verses, they definitely are the definition of the Wonder Twins

Don't be embarrassed cuz you didn't know about Coast Contra back then. Most of us didn't! It took the hype from everyone loving what Eric Jamal did on the "Never" freestyle they did over JID's beat and all the mentions artists was giving em after JID posted about it that brought CC to light. Ever since then we started going down the rabbit hole and they legit blew up. That's why in the Speechless freestyle they did after, E was acknowledging the appreciation in the first bars of his verse. I'm glad you went to check this one out. I was actually gonna suggest it cuz most don't react to it. Ras went crazy poet on this. Their whole story is dope. Check em out on Talib Kweli's show called "People's Party". That was a great interview. They did a flow on there at the end too. You would love it

Greetings Monq! I'm new to your community and have watched your CC reactions. If I may suggest, watch their interview with Talib Kweli. It will give you perspective about how they met and what they've endured, as they've been a collective for 7 years. This truly has been A LONG TIME coming for these brothers. I think that interview will bring alot of things into clarity for you. I know I found it very informative and gave me a very profound appreciation for them knowing how committed they are in their brotherhood AND to the culture.

Well in the late 80's it was actually Great until.... The kids started to embrace the idea of knowledge of self and self awareness. The music was motivating youth of all cultures to embrace their culture, heritage and history and of course we can't have people getting smart now can we (sarcastically ) soooo, gangster music, which was once shunned, had become the weapon to wipe out positive culture in HIP-HOP and start flooring the idea of gun lyrics and hang lifestyle. So much that kids in other countries started wearing raiders hats and jackets and looking like NWA. This was the death of the Afrocentric era of HIP-HOP as we used to know it, but it will be back
