That jasper was a cool looking rock. I really like the serval cat. I had a tabby who got hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. The vet said confine him to a small room with food water and litter. He didn't move much and after about three weeks he was getting around a little and after two months he was running and jumping like normal.

We have a lot of wild animals here in Maine that are said not supposed to be here, but have been proven to actually be here!

Macie, I saw a cougar in NH about 2 miles from the Maine border in 1990 and I saw a black wolf in Brownville Maine in 2017.

A few years ago, we had a mountain lion roaming the Oxford area, people got pics of it, but the game service kept denying that it was here. Also, back in the late 70's I saw a Timber wolf up in the Caribou area, and in 2015, there was a Canadian Lynx down in the Waldoboro area that people got pics of.

Yes but usually they are animals not native to the state of Maine bc people buy them from exotic pet shops and some wild life that are native to the New England areas will migrate due to low food resources, Servals are native to Africa so if fish and game catch them the can dispose of them and fine the owners bc they require a special permit which is hard to obtain from the state. I know this bc my uncle got fined years ago for that
