Yes, we all, even us hunters, say it's for the beauty of it. But having some stacks of venison to gaze at when you open the freezer gives some satisfaction. I bet same with your gold collections. How often you take them out to look at them again?

Try adding some fresh ground beef to that there hot dog sauce. You’ll love it even more. Cook it 30-40 minutes to let some flavor get in there. MM mm.

Every year in the fall there thousands of bee mostly honey bees on the knotweed in my driveway, getting that nectar it’s pretty cool

Thank you for the nutritional info about honey. Did not know that even though I was born and raised in the NH countryside and grew up in a "sustenance" lifestyle. Eating trout, salmon, perch, horn pout , grouse , pheasant, geese, ducks, woodcock, venison, moose, fiddleheads, indian cucumbers.

I will pick it up because I truly enjoyed the book "Smoke from a Thousand Campfires". Game warden stories can be very funny. Is there by any chance, any stories about mountain lions or sasquatch ?

I would love to tell you a few stories while sitting around a campfire. One is about the time a mountain lion was watching me and a lady friend having "fun" while parked on the side of East Inlet rd.

@@clasvirhodes4969 I have written about both having been the NH Fish and Game Department "Keeper of the mountain lion records" for three decades. 100 sights some years. No tracks, fur, scat or kill or even a picture with thousands of game cameras and security cameras statewide. I don't think those stories are in this book. I may have to do another.

They don't make them anymore. Many people have asked. People have been making their own by modifying a regular shovel with sides.
