They call it "The Art" which makes you look at art in a while new way when all it takes is a human to go from just standing around like normal to rapping awesomely to reveal an insight into what art really is, from normal to artistic outpouring, the difference is night and day, one is basic, the other energy is light, captivating, energizing, inspiring

@@dawb86 Honestly speaking, dawg,it ain't the "industry". Whatever sells, remains relevant. Ninjas love street shit, shootin, killin each other and lookin at body counts, like it's fun and games. IF folks stop buying and listening to the shit, it would be popular anymore. It's crazy how we always go for negativity. I'm 58 and never would I had thought you could sell records talkin about niggas killin niggas. Sad.

@@OmarScruggs'87/'88 was the game changer. This was when things shifted. The changing of guards so to speak. With variety. The genre had an array of artists for one. With various subject matter. The flows & cadence of hip hop also changed. No one sounded the same. And the artists from this era gave birth, credence and lessons to those who you may feel are The Best in the 90's. You have to give credit to those who influenced them. Their biggest influence come from songs & lyrics from those years. And for sure those artists who were the most impactful to them come from 1987/1988. They have all told you out of their own mouth. Hands down the best Years '87/'88

It is a pleasure to see THESE two brothers build on the Internet..too see Kane show up in all his Lordness to still be smooth cool his prowess on the mic WAS incredible Kane destroyed the mic AND what it meant to be an emcee.. AND Ghost Face quirkiness on the mic is legendary..

Because I experienced that era of rappers/MCs, I can't appreciate the stuff of today. Aside from that, they don't look drugged up and washed out. All the blessings to them ❤.

Two legends Long Live Kane & Ghost Supreme Clientele easily ranks high among the soundtracks of my early adulthood. Takes me back to Junior- Senior year undergrad. So many memorable bars on that album. We'd try to decode the slang. That was the thing; show that you were a true head...that you knew the lingo. It was an obsession. We'd rock Wallabees; get'em dyed to match the colors in our clothes. Lo'ed down! Gold fangs...Studying 120. Man, what a time to be alive. Thank you to both of these men for their art and contribution to culture.

2 of my favorite rappers...Big Daddy Kane made me want to be a lyrical beast in high school because I saw him start off with Biz Markie ( RIP) and become a force to be reckoned with... Ghostface Killah...he became my favorite member of Wu Tang after I heard him on " OB4CL" and then he just kept elevating...his vivid imagination and unorthodox style ...plus they both have Pro Black mentalities and a love for beautiful Black Women...Without the Juice Crew All Stars , there probably would be no Wu Tang Clan..who ever put this together...thank you..peace & blessings!

to hear ghost and kane talk about how lucky they are to be successful is really touching. too many successful people don't acknowledge that. i always respect successful people who say how lucky they are to be where they are. i have no respect for people who think otherwise. nobody succeeds alone. nobody succeeds without good luck.

I got quite emotional watching that. I absolutely adore those original rappers like Kane. So many of the people who’s music inspired me as a teenager have passed away, or not got he respect they deserved when they were alive. Really moved me to see Ghost give him his due and earned respect. Love both of these fellas. God bless!

😏👍🏾 Two of the ILLEST to ever grace the microphone. Kane raised me with his music and style when I was 7 and Ghost took over the mantle when I turned 13. I'm 44 now and looking back I can say that the Golden Era of Hip-Hop from '86 to '99 was truly MAGNIFICENT!!! 🙏🏾😌 I'm glad to know what DOPE sounds like because of that era and these two were definitely a part of that! Thank you both for speaking on the memories and legacies of O.D.B (🙏🏾) and Biz Markie (🙏🏾) 🫡 💐💐.
