If the guy believes that US citizenship and Puerto Rican citizenship are different how can you follow anything he says?

You are 100% incorrect on giving up citizenship. “Bonafide Resident” for tax purposes has nothing to do with giving up your US citizenship. I’m appalled your accountant would say that. WOW.

I'm puerto rican. You don't have to give up your citizenship .The only thing is that you cannot vote for a presidential election if you live in Puerto Rico and are a residence. You have a good tax advantage. And you have to have an investment. Because to keep it, you have to be in Puerto Rico for substantial length of time.

@ 22:30 The purchaser of your 11.00 Call does Not need $1,100.00 collateral. Their $40.00 is all they need. (100 x $0.40 = $40.00) A call buyer is under no obligation to buy your shares, they have the "right" to, if they choose to exercise their contract, however, no obligation. You as the premium seller have the "obligation" to either sell your shares if you're selling covered calls or the obligation to buy 100 shares per contract if you're selling puts. And that's assuming you and your counterparty let the contracts go to expiration and don't buy your calls back or roll them. Another discussion in itself.

I started my professional career and retired after working for 8 different companies in Silicon Valley. In my opinion, Silicon Valley is the center of equity investing. I know personally many of my former co workers and many close friends either became rich or lost everything because of day trading, puts/calls , options and other high risk/high rewards investments. I am not one of them who will put everything in one basket. My investments are very diversified, I always think of what IF scenario. My strategy paid off. My wife and I are financially independent at the age of 55. Our lifestyle did not change and we continue do many international trips each year. We continue to live the same house we bought 35 years because our neighborhood is one of the desirable place to live in my metro. The reason I share this is to be caution of where you put your hard earned money. You many win but you may also lose. If the investment gurus in the wall street know what they talking bout, how come they continue to work? This is my 2 cents.

Main problem is if stock FALLS to far ,then you cant sell any more calls at that same price,,premium goes down to nothing ,,so then your stuck with the stock at a lower price & calls are not high enough to make any money. also you may need additional cash to pay for option clearing house margin,, protection is to buy a put to protect the stock from dropping to far ,,its called a married put. little less profit but a lot more secure,,,sell call,,buy protective put,, if stock goes to high,,roll the stock up to next week,,collect more premium,,the let get exercised. many different styles to do,,main is to staysafe & dont lose your cash. if themarket crashes,,then you will lose more then you can makein the long run,,selling naked puts very dangerous,,need plenty cash to cover it.35 years doing all this. only in Australia stocks,,safer

Well done Kevin, taking down that vlog yesterday was the best thing to do. A problem shared was not a problem halved in your case yesterday. Explaining the details to the masses yesterday was something you should have only shared with close friends and those you trusted. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! So many viewers do not understand your trading, nor should dabble themselves. Also too many troll's. So glad your accountant has given you good advice. Keep on vlogging.

Stock trading will be one of the ways we add to our bank account when we move there as well. I day trade and swing trade now and love it. It blows my mind that more expats don’t even attempt to learn how to trade to make exponentially more money while in the PH. Once you put in the time to learn you can earn so much more, in less time than all that time it takes to shoot video, edit and then get crumbs from YT Adsense. Adsense makes no sense for most channels lol. 🤙🏻

Great video. Selling options works well (until it doesn't) but covered calls are generally a safe strategy(providing the underlying stock isn't really volatile). I will just state for people here not familiar, his 3 stocks that he talks about and their annualized returns: he says he has done prelim research and one is 19.5% a year, another is 39% a year. The higher the % means the higher the volatility. When you sell an option, you are selling time and volatility. Volatility = risk , also just know that if you buy a stock and it goes down in value 20%, selling options against your shares also goes down due to it not being as large of $$$ percentage wise. Any gamblers out there? China stocks multi year lows lol.

Yes everything is reported to the IRS! But foreigner investment income is not taxable by the US to a foreign individual not a resident or inside the USA. Usually their local country does not tax that income either. Only the US taxes world wide income. I lived and worked in China for 3 years and had to pay taxes to Uncle Sam above the taxes I paid to Xi Jinping.

I dont know anything about what the guy is talking about with this act 60.. but it's clear to me from reading the comments that none of you likely know what a US citizen actually is, and almost none of you who think you are, actually are US Citizens. Youve been claiming it all your life and the US lets you because it benefits greatly from it.. re: taxation... But most likely and almost certainly, you're American Nationals. Its way too broad a topic to explain briefly, and you probably wont believe it, but if its piqued your interest, lookup roger sayles radio ranch podcast and give it a listen. He explains it pretty well and has a few videos where he explains different aspects of it.

I've been doing US and Canadian stocks and options for years with my registered accounts on TD Direct Investing platform, even while on vacation in the Philippines. Having the 12-hour time difference, and travelling to different places, it's hard to keep track of the market, and I lost a lot while being there. They said it's risky when you're retired, but when you're doing it right with a defensive mindset, stock market is one of the better options for retirees these days.

***** First Off This Is Not An Attack just an observation to answer some comments & questions below. I've watched both channels and very much enjoy both guys.***** : He wouldn't say why he took the video down but I saw the video and the comments ... and the comments were tearing him a new one. Not all of them but a helluva lot. But you have to remember that the haters are not making money or they wouldn't be on KZfaq armchair quarterbacking a so called idiot/scammer/etc. With that said... The video sounded like a get rich scheme in the beginning but then it came around and sounded more informative in the end or not as suspect. I think he just didn't convey his message as colloquially and elegantly as he wanted and/or the viewers needed. It's like the information is correct but there are a lot of technical loopholes where it can all go wrong and he didn't really touch on them AT ALL. Bottom line was that he didn't really have to move to Puerto Rico because or since he is making 100's of thousands of dollars a year. He just hates giving so much of it to the U.S. government. He also never mentioned what % you lost to taxes on the short term gains which really seemed sus or maybe he's just illiterate on the tax side of things. It was like watching a top chef tell you how easy it is to make a dish and they grab a pinch of this and a dab of that and spout out all their expertise of what they are doing but they can't really convey their finesse that took years to acquire so you are never going to know all the mistakes of oven temps, indoor humidity, time from mixing to skillet, exact pre-conditioning of elements of the dish that are by touch, etc etc etc.. Many commenters/haters questioned why leave the Philippines if you making so freaking much $ regardless of how much you are losing if you're still making so much bank. It almost sounded like your loser friends that go to the casino every weekend and they come back and tell you how much money they won. THEY JUST DIDN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH THEY LOST. They won $350 but lost the $350 plus another $200. Because if everyone was winning at the casinos like they say then the casinos would go out of business. I thought he was going to start selling classes to learn how to do it but it did not come up. But it did subliminally come up in this video. So do what you want with that. I think anyone interested in the PLAN just needs to watch a lot of Other KZfaq How To videos on the topic and determine if they have the intellectual fortitude and the money in the bank to ideally start small and work up to the massive amounts of money he was professing to make each week. I forgot what it was but I felt like he should have surely been clearing $150,000 UDS yearly. If I was making that much I think I would have 2 accountants and two lawyers. I wish I had the stock market prowess but alas I do not. Best of Luck / Skill to Kevin & Jenna Lynn and Mark & Jen and all who endeavor to make money and not let the mafia *(gov) and their goons *(irs) take it away from you. ☮🕊✌

The important thing to know is Kevin just glosses over and even downplays the risks. The risks he is assuming are large. I highly recommend you research the strategy he is using and watch some videos. More than 1. Look for the videos that clearly explore the risks. Be extra careful as extreme markets allow for short term anomalies. Periods where a simple strategy seems full proof....Kevin is highly defensive so impossible to have a responsible conversation with I did cringe extra hard when he made it sound so wonderful i just take 10 minutes each Monday and then its off to play. Kevin do yourself a favor and talk to people who have a great depth of understanding the risks. Despite you being so unlikeable when confronted ill offer 1 more piece of free advice. Look into how the Philippines legally deals with giving investment advice. Ive no clue but wouldn't be surprised if it could be problematic offering investment advice online to masses. Kevin deleted me so im happy to not deal with him going forward. The comments did give him the fear of god though....you can see the fear in his eyes in this video. Thank you Mark for allowing a neutral conversation space

Hi Mark, thanks for giving Kevin exposure on your channel . I’ll be paying close attention to his videos . I am late 40s and looking to make the move from America to Asia in the next 1.5-2 years from now. I think Kevin’s strategy makes sense, since i am in no way looking to ‘get rich quick’.. i dont even need to make as much as he does.. I dont have a “math mind” as he does, but i have a rudimentary understanding of the market- and i may try his strategy, starting small, to see if i can get to the point where i am generating $350 USD per week, or $1400 per month ..anything above that would be gravy.. but that- along with an emergency fund/cash cushion/other smallish investments would be enough for me to finally vacate the America hellscape.. thanks again .

I think the red flags showed up because he claimed to have made so much money in a short space of time and because of huge taxes he deemed it to big of a loss prompting him to consider a move to PR. Because he was overly defensive to obvious knee jerk questions this raised doubts. All i advised was youtube was not the best place to promote get rich quick schemes and that if he was so successful why was he promoting the sales/ rentals on behalf of a property company for a small commisson.

If he did go to Puerto Rico, I doubt he would have done all the things he said for his girlfriend. Just my opinion. Adios, hasta la vista baby and never came back.
