The verse about minors is entirely about minors, not coal miners. The first reference about minors is from an article he read about kids poor enough to qualify for free school breakfast and lunches. The article mentioned how during the school breaks, charities would give out breakfast to these kids, but not lunches. The families are close enough to the edge that with this inflation, they can't afford it, and someone goes hungry.

Many of them triple the salary that we pay them in a short time. Where does this money come from? Oliver Anthony has stepped up and said all of this out loud. He absolutely said what “we the people” were thinking.
