Things were tense in the His Lordship van. Traffic jams grew longer and spirits were low. 20 mins until stage time and His Lordship still weren’t on site. Will Glastonbury happen?
Turns out, yes. With 8 minutes to go the van pulled into the BBC Introducing backstage area and His Lordship began frantically changing into their Rock’n’Roll super suits.
5 mins to go….load the crap into the stage. Quick!
‘Dave! don’t worry about you HAIR- now is not the time!’
‘Kris! stop going on about peace and love and bang the bass drum for Gerry’
‘James, stop crying. Just stop crying’
‘GO!!!!’
