Immature ! .... I was dumped a week ago! AM still perplexed if not flabbergasted 😅 . I haven't texted him nor called and will never. I asked him if he was ready to commit long term- he went silent for 2 days- that was it for me. The silent treatment is exactly how you described- its stating: "great. I have you- but I dont want to commit- I want to sleep around and keep my options open- but I'll swing back to you if I want because I know YOU want ME. I dropped him immediately and blocked him. I have absolutely NO time for players, and emotional manipulators.

It’s been 2 months of silence. Truly heartbreaking, but I will be fine. This is the second time he’s been silent in our relationship, we’ve been together for 18 months. This has always been a pattern in all my relationships and I would be clingy and chase. It’s been 3 days and for the first time I don’t actually feel the need to reach out and I am feeling strong enough to call him out on it if he comes back because I want a man not a child.

After 5 days I actually called him out on this behaviour and basically told him if he doesn’t want to be with me anymore then I’ll happily walk away because his behaviour is making lose trust and respect for him and to be honest I deserve better. He’s been in constant contact since and is putting in the effort. The reason was he has some health issues that has been worrying him so he’s opened up to me about everything and is allowing me to support him.

He says, “If a man goes silent, you MUST confront him.” He doesn’t say to go silent if a man goes silent. He says not to chase him. The confrontation is about letting him know his behavior is unacceptable and setting a boundary. If a man asks for space you give it to him. Focus on you, do things that make you feel radiant and positive-and if he doesn’t come to you, come to him but bring those positive vibes so he can see what he’s missing. Key is to not be attached to the outcome because that makes you needy. You’re showing him that you don’t need him to be happy. You’re showing him that you know how to meet your own needs. If he doesn’t shape up, let him go; he’s definitely not right/ready for you.

I decided to let him go. I told him "you keep ghosting me" and this "break my heart". He used to be the one chased after me , I keep giving him space, he has his own issue, I tried to be supportive but somehow he is continuously being emotionally unavailable. I felt disconnected and I'm tired , this relationship drain me. This is not all about being silent to test my love for him. I deserve someone who is much better, more committed.

How can a woman be respectful when he is not saying why he is going silent? -- this video is the first one I've ever seen that explains about a man going silent. And, he's not explaining anything to his girl, he's just leaving her hanging, wondering what is going on and being left in the dark, and so this is like a game. He doesn't deserve the respect, SHE deserves the respect. If he is really a decent guy, he will let his girl know by telling her that he is just not that into her anymore

This made me feel good about my decision to close the door to my heart to him. I was in this loop for 3 months. I knew in my heart of hearts what it was (that he was cheating) but he kept selling me dreams and how much he loves me everytime I'd confront him of his silence. He had a million excuses for why he couldn't get online etc etc. I can't believe I put up with it for so long. Anyway, two weeks before I dumped him I warned him that he'd one day get online and not find me...... surely enough he slipped back into the nonsense so I finally gathered the courage to leave. I know I deserve better. I'm not perfect, but I'm a damn good woman and my husband (wherever he is) will be blessed to have me as his wife🥰❤️

Everyone's got preferences. Just as I can choose whom I wish to interact with so can anyone else. Often times people are offended, you may have your ego bruised but ultimately we should all value time and our energy. If someone doesn't resonate with you, it doesn't matter whether they express it or not, No one should be forced to stay or keep holding onto anything they've lost interest in. People are replaceable.

I partially agree/disagree. People should never be forced to stay in anything. But when people invest time and energy and other things you can’t get back into others and relationships, then yes they should have some type of explanation. Update: I sent that text today, and I feel so much better about the situation and myself. I took back the control. He can’t just come back; I closed the door, and he’s gonna have to fight like hell to get it open again. I’m stronger than him. I’m certain of it, and I’m so glad that I just didn’t let him get away with this breadcrumb/ghosting sh1t. Usually, I just let them go and don’t say a word. But it was awesome to tell him that we hadn’t spoken in X days, that I want a man that I can trust, that I’m closing the door, and that he can delete my number. I don’t even care if he comes back; I feel a big weight lifted off of my shoulders.

When my boyfriend first did this, I left it for a bit , a few days... then I just called him and said cut the crap and the games! I told him not to do this again or I’m gone forever and he hasn’t- that was 6 months ago. We are in a really great place now! It’s only a big problem if you let him get away with this rubbish!! Trust me he will hurt u down the line I went through the same thing saw a behaviour problem he promised he would change and not make feel the way I do got married down the line had kids and he did it again. It's a horrible feeling it called emotional manipulation been with a man for 14 yrs is hard to get over the pain when you saw the behaviour the signs were there. I choose to give him a chance and he repeated the pattern. You be careful as mentally the impact is toxic they don't look on their behaviour and what it does to people mentally very emotional on you to make you feel that it's you that's the problem when it's actually them hurt people hurt people. If I could go back in time I should of walked when I saw the behaviour and when I had the chance to not build any memories which this fool of a ex Good luck

Many women don't seem to get this about men but if you take anything away from this video it is this quote; ""Men are like kids...when we don't know the boundaries, we will try to play you". From a guy here, this is some of the best advice I've ever heard for women. You need to give us an ultimatum and then space to decide what to do. If we are serious then we will commit. The worst thing you can do is go nuclear and end things without this talk. Otherwise you can kiss goodbye to what would have turned into many great long term relationships relationships.

Nice advice, I like it. I'll give it a try on Tuesday. Because tomorrow is a holiday and he's not at work. I have to apologize to him first, because in a very short time I put him on the spot about my feelings for him. Even telling him that I'm pretty sure his feelings toward me are similar. I told him I had something for him and he said he would meet me out at my car. I gave him a card with my phone number on it and my declaration of heartfelt interest. The next time I saw him he was much more serious towards me 😮 I have decided to apologize to him for coming on so strong and that I would prefer he just tear up my phone number on the card that I gave him, and take my actions as a mistake on my part. Not because I don't feel like what I said. But that it could hurt him by interfering in his job. And I will just shop somewhere else and not enter his space and make him nervous or make me feel nervous. That's a laugh but then again blackmail isn't a joke. It's also why women date around too. It doesn't mean we're having s*x with every date. It means those first 3 months mean nothing. That's when guys want to hit it and quit it before that mask slips and everyone's gotta get real. We know you're not serious. We know you're not ready to settle down. What happened to me , I think he moved on and was afraid to tell me! I kept begging and he will come around but not fully commit like before he ended up wanting a break a month later then I told him let it be a break quess what he said maybe I already have someone else and I said I don't have time for games ! I then blocked him and he told his friend that we have broken up! After a week I reached out and he talked for 3 days and I just saw it ain't working since he wouldn't give me time and attention, he would avoid my calls and that's when I decided that were over for good
