This video is a review of the Hisense PX1-PRO Laser Cinema ultra short throw projector. Paired with my Elite Screens Aeon CLR123 screen, this thing is amazing. There are some limitations but the performance is extremely high level and with the right setup, you could have your own theatre at home. Enjoy!

Nice review, thanks - if only the PX1 Pro was brighter! Thinking about buying the successor PX2 Pro, but according to early reviews/froum posts there are some issues with it, so guess I'll wait for now

Great video my update I have 2 4k projectors 1 ,Hisense px1-pro and WOW IS all I can say.Its had a new update and has all the dolby vision,and sound up dates.I use mine in direct sunlight just have to use Vava or Wemax both under $700.00 bucks.ALR screens and problem solved brightest picture and I game both PS5 and xbox s at 28ms great great projector have helped 4 friends set up and they love it.

Hi how is the brightness in day light viewing? Is it like TV alike?

This is one area I was disappointed with. It does not have the brightness of a tv in daylight viewing. And because of the low brightness, the contrast really suffers

Thanks for the review. I have a BenQ 2050A in a room with one window, it's rated for 2200 lumens and honestly it's serviceable with the shade up, but not ideal. Been really interested in this one. The Epson LS500 seems to be just a couple hundred bucks cheaper (at least right now) and rated at 4000 lumens, and i think the design is better, too - much simpler and more streamlined. Does anyone know if it's single laser (rainbow effect) and if the speakers are decent?

Havnt seen the Epson in person but I was very happy with the Hisense. I do wish that it had just a little more brightness. I think 3000-3500 would be a sweet spot to improve overall contrast and image quality.

Can you mount it on the ceiling and then reverse the image?

Yes you can but it’s not going to optimize the machines capabilities

Worth buying? Is Daylight viewing good ?

It is definitely worth buying. It’s a really good performing machine. However, I did mention that I found it a little underwhelming when it comes to brightness I think it could benefit from a bit more brightness so daylight viewing with a lot of windows would be challenging.
