Hi Joelster, Love the U8K video's! Question: Do you have the best Equalizer settings for the TV's audio? I was surprised at how good the U8K's sound system is without using my sound bar and I would like to get the most out of it. Thanks so much for all you do on your channel! A BIG 👍 up!

I usually don't mess around with audio settings because I have a soundbar connected but i can probably do a video on sound.

@JoelsterG4K, I can get the 55 inch Samsung S95C New for $1549 💵 or the New 2024 Hisense U8N 55 Inch for $1049 or the 65 inch for $1499. Which one should I get? I'm pretty sure the U8N is better than the U8K.

Thank you for doing this video. I'm not sure why some of us U8K owners are getting a dim screen when using HDR on the PS5. Let me ask you this, with the PS5 HDR set to "on" or "on when supported," does your PS5 dashboard look dark? That is the first thing I noticed when I switched my PS5 from the Bravia X900H to the U8K. My PS5 welcome screen used to be HDR bright. On the U8K it's dim and dull, indicating something is wrong. People with U8K that are getting as irritated as I am have traded it in for a TCLQM8 and the problem goes away. I really don't know why we are having issues. It may be a unique problem with the 75" ADS Pro model U8K due to different motherboard or internals. I don't know.

Yes the HDR on the PS5 is always on, I don't know if the ADS panels are affecting it, the 65" has a VA panel and it works great so that could be the difference.

@@JoelsterG4k Ok, thanks. But the PS5 welcome screen, dashboard and system settings menus - are they dim with your PS5 set to HDR "always on?"

@@suedepupSeems to be up with most brands that are not Sony. I have a U8G and a U8K and they both look dim, doesn't happen with my Xbox.

@@fabiors10 Thank you for that info. Seems like something Hisense could fix with an update. I tried to report it to Hisense support, but they stopped responding. Too bad. I returned the TV for a full refund.

@@suedepupit increases contrast lol the screen already has a dark filter on it but you don’t notice it hdr makes it more seen because the increased contrast,also gold be since you got it on always on it’s applying hdr to sdr so it’s wonky auto would be better

@rickygreen3496 i bought both and honestly the picture quality is is so negligible youll be fine with either. I favor the x90l for its color and vibrancy. Not that bad blooming and decent blacks. The u8k is a great tv but side by side it aint that much difference.

@@brobob52 that’s good to hear, and on the Sony you have the superior processor. On the U8K have you had any issues with the settings resetting on their own? That’s been the biggest drawback for me personally that would be annoying

VRR is on the ps5, ehanched mode 144hz on but the game bar says VRR is off. How to fix this????

Does brightness need to be all the way up to get the best quality? Because usually my room is completely dark

No, adjust it to your desire.

HDR content should be viewed at full brightness. If it’s too bright switch to SDR

Ponle el cable hdmi en el hdmi de la televisión que dice 144hz. La televisión viene con cuatro portos de hdmi, si no puedes leer cuál es de 144hz trata de poner el cable en cada porto hasta que veas que está en 144hz. Espero que eso te ayude, perdón por me espanol

Buenas tengo u8k de 65 y en hdr se atenua la pantalla oscura y descolorida y en sdr es una explosión 💥 de brillo y color que pasara con mi tv ?

@@JoelsterG4kamigo todo el hdr en hdmi es ese modelo de 65 en videos de KZfaq el hdr funciona correctamente en películas y demás el hdr correcto el problema es que se se atenúa en hdr vía HDMI por ejemplo ps5

Yes, the U8K is brighter, it has much better contrast and black levels, it has better sound and it has better gaming features like 4k/120hz.

I just bought a 65 inch version. When I have HDR on for the PS5 it’s looks super washed but when I have it off it’s looks great

Me too, so i changed settings when play HDR games My settings are Color 70 Contrast 60 Local dimming: High Looks a lot better (at least for me)

Hey man, I’m on the fence about buying the same one. How is gaming/movies on it so far? I only ask because apparently the 75 inch has an Ads panel compared to other sizes which have the Va panel

@@alexstreet2457It’s really goodfor tv and movies but gaming on PS5 is overly dark in HDR. When HDR is off it’s amazing.
