We have a lot of Asians in Mexico. I am a Japanese Mexican whose family has been in Mexico for very many many generations. In Mexicali, there’s also a bunch of Asians, mainly Chinese Mexicans who have been there for very many many many generations and can only speak Spanish. Asian is la cuarta raíz of Mexico. But yeah Asian Latinos exist too.

@@KingSally92 yes. But only because I think their options of finding men thin out as they reach 25+. Then they start to give foreigners a chance. They start making exceptions, like for beards. As long as you’re hygienic, responsible with your time/money, and show you care about your future career, you’ll be fine. If you don’t have money like that, it helps if you look soft faced like Lou Diamond Phillips from “La Bamba” lol

In the United States Japanese and Mexicans have always been close. During World War 2 , when the white Americans put our Japanese brothers in concentration camps, a Mexican went in there with them, and lived with the Japanese in the concentration camp for 2 years. When the white Americans found out they dragged him out and made him serve in the war, where he earned various medals for valor and bravery. Before the stereotype of the Mexican gardener, it used to be Japanese gardener in LA.

Wow, there are so many Malinches among Japanese women. They should also form a Malinche club in Japan; there was one in Mexico in the 80's. I am so proud of Japanese women as they marry a person whom they love, irrespective of race. Race doesn't matter to them. Don't expect a welcome wagon. People are nice but much of it is superficial. Unless you're white or "white looking", you'll be kept at arms' distance. I'm Latino, very dark skinned and short, so suffice to say, I didn't fit in. Again people were polite but I'd never find a date over there for example.

I’m Latino. I look indigenous (brown & short) and i lived there for a year in 2015-2016. People were polite and helpful everywhere I went. I lived in a small town and the elderly always tried to make conversation. Everybody would talk to me in Japanese and it was great cuz I learned a lot. I don’t know about others’ experiences but that’s what I experienced. 😊

As a Mexican-American myself it makes me happy to see Japanese people enjoy our culture. I enjoy teaching others about our diverse culture with its rich food and history. When I was in Switzerland, I liked it when I breaking the stereotypes of Mexicans and seeing we are not that bad. If I go to Japan, I hope I can make friends there and who knows maybe even find a nice woman there too ;) but also play soccer with the Japanese and teach them a skill or two as well lol. I have a theory about why the oriental asians and the mixed latins with too much indigenous origin attract each other and I think it is because they are like far relatives because the ancestors of the latin people crossed to America from Asia through the Bering Strait to the contrary the latins with more european genes see more to Europe.

What does that have to do with Japan? Learn the difference, unlike Latin countries, Asian countries share similar culture but not the same language.

@@franklopez2969 The topic is Japanese and Mexican couple. You chimed in with your wife is from HK as if it's the same thing. I guess if your wife tells her family you're from Peru it wouldn't make a difference, or would that be neccessary information? My wife is Mexican, and she told me how ignorant Mexican men can be.
