Here is how I learned about connective tissue. Embryonic, comprising mesenchymal and mucoid. Loose, comprising areolar, reticular and adipose. Dense, comprising dense regular and dense irregular. Bone and cartilage were considered apart from that.

How is Adipose loose tissue also considered areolar tissue. Loose and areolar are synonymous?

I think adipose is very similar to areolar, but just has more adipocytes (fat storage) proportionately, and less fibrous components. Both of these are considered "loose connective tissue proper".

Your properties of loose connective tissue are incorrect. Loose connective tissue don’t have predominant collagen fibers (that’s dense connective tissue) but they have a moderate amount of collagen, elastic and reticular fibers.
