Next time stop at Navaho Twin Rocks, just on the left as you were leaving Bluff. Also, Valley of the Gods is a beautiful 17 mile loop west of Bluff. The Mokee Dugway is a cool drive and Goosenecks State Park has great camping. Both are west of Bluff.

Loved this area. Stopped in Bluff at Mormon compound. Great story. Headed up to Hovenweep National Monument north of Bluff for turn to Hovenweep. Like you camped at KOA in Monument Valley. What a view at sunrise and sunset.

🙋Hello Russ! The Petroglyphs are always fascinating. Loved the aerial view seeing how the greenery stayed along the river. Campground looked inviting. Nicely preserved Fort Bluff, really was amazing.👍

I enjoyed your trip to the petroglyphs, very cool. I didn't realize Bluff Utah was a canyon u til you drove out of it. Settlers of Bluff Fort had to have a lot of grit to stay in those tiny cabins. The fort was really too cool for school. Thanks for including your viewers in your travels.

Hey Russ, nice to be riding along with you again. I've been through that area a bunch of times but never on that stretch of 191. (I've always taken the Moki Dugway to or from Natural Bridges and Blanding) I definitely need to check out the Petroglyphs and Fort Bluff the next time I'm out there. Happy trails!

My 15 yr old dog, Oreo, toured Bluff Fort in May 2022. As you said, it was a great experience. BTW, the little refreshment center has the worlds best brownies. I bought a dozen to take along and munch on them for the next 2 or 3 weeks of my trip. Great vid. Keep it up and safe travels.

Hello again Russ. What a cool video with two nice stops. I love the Fort Bluff area. The Indian tepee reminded me of the tepee my dad built in our back yard for my brother and me. I had forgotten all about that tell I saw the tepee. Thank you for bringing back that memory. Take care for now.

Another great video. Sometime you will have venture over Cove Fort in Utah. Lots of history. So much fun to visit. They also have Cove Fort Days and have wagon rides and horse drawn stagecoach rides. It’s between I-15 and I-70 half way between Beaver and Fillmore. Also Fillmore is another place for you to visit. It was Utahs first territorial capital. Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum.

16:23 That water wheel was actually a water LIFT, Russ. If one watches closely the buckets for raising water out of the "stream" are seen tilting at their apex so as to dump the contents into an elevated flume. Don't normally see these around, let alone one in action; very interesting.

Russ I’ve been watching your channel for about 4 years. I really like your videos and I have always looked forward to your next video but there is an issue with some of your videos that I have noticed that is getting worse. Would you please consider purchasing a gimbal for your GoPro. As you are walking around you sometimes are not holding the camera level and that just ruins the experience. As you were walking around the fort in Bluff the video really wasn’t watchable. A good gimbal for a GoPro can be had for around $100 and it would keep your camera level regardless of your hand/wrist/arm position. There are gimbals for phones that can be had for way less than $100 also. Hopefully you will read this as a suggestion and not a criticism. Thanks for all of the videos of your travels!

The reason for seeing so many vans is probably because of the crazy cost of gas. That's my belief anyway.

Be careful of road agents in those remote BLM campgrounds and always have your shotgun or AR15 along with a 9mm auto if you have do battle with these bandits. Motion detecting cameras and lights all around you rig is mandatory. This is unfortunate but just the way it is these days.
