I haven’t yet watched the first part of the series in CK2, so idk if you’ve already covered it, but do you plan on always occupying land that the Turks never marched on? I noticed you seemed to hope to siege Venice itself, which seems beyond the scope of the Ottomans’ Italian accomplishments. Even occupying Friuli seems counter to the point. Loving the content btw, keep it up!

The warfare mechanics of the game are unfortunately not super historically-compliant. There's no feasible way to wage historically-accurate war, for a number of reasons. Game-wise, temporarily occupying a province serves only one purpose for me and that is to increase the war-score. So while some provinces may be "occupied" I make a deliberate effort to never TAKE provinces that the Ottomans didn't truly "take."

In other words, the plan is typically: 1) Declare War with specific (historical) goals in mind 2) Lie Cheat Steal and do anything (even a-historically) to WIN the war, 3) take only historically accurate goals. I would love (I think?) the concept to wage war(s) ONLY for the goals, but #1 that doesn't (feasibly) exist and #2 it might actually make the game un-fun.

Seeing your series has insprired me to try my own. Can you please recommend a nation that has a lot of history i can base off. I can only think of castille or france off the top of my head.

France is actually the one I first began with, with Victoria 3 and HOI4 playthroughs posted on the channel. Turkey was my next project and my first "mega project" where I planned to do all four games. I just posted that my next mega-series will be England-England-America-America (I will split off to America after the revolutionary war) so the best advice I can give might be to google for "famous historical empires" and see what you can come up with. Have fun =D

@@viniciusyugulis7278 that's my next mega series actually. CK3-EU4-VIC3-HOI4 will be England-England-America-America, I plan to split off to America after (during?) the Revolutionary War.

@@AdmiralJediPDX would it not be better for you to play in vic 3 cause that's englands period of dominance after the fall of Spain and Portugal. And hoi4 5 years of sitting and waiting for the Japanese to attack you would be boring compared to the uk starting in 1939

@@nrbmemes2414 probably but #1 I'm an American ^_^ #2 It probably won't be much harder than playing FRANCE historically accurately (with a full on plan to LOSE at the very beginning of the game) but more importantly: #3 - I'm considering doing BOTH, tbh. Have two series after the American Revolution, one as America for the remainder of the games, one as England. I love me some Paradox! =D
