"Two witches torn apart, now alone. Two hearts of stone, a curse of feathers and mud, a betrayal of blood."
Song: History Has Its Eyes On You, from Hamilton: An American Musical
|| synopsis;; ⚔️🧭
your mistakes will always follow behind.
emperor belos warns hunter about the pain that comes with living, things like sacrifices, mistakes and pain. still, he just wants the best for his uncle and gives all of his efforts to not let himself be viewed in a weak position.
but if being vulnerable is what makes us humane, why is it that we escape in the most horrific ways?
only hunter knows, only belos understands.

• Every art style changes its intentional. It's up to your interpretation the reason why.
• This animation is more subjective to me than it is to you. Still context will be added vaguely so our interpretations get on the same page
|| Context;;
Two brothers fell into the pool and were brought to the Demon Realm.
One was fascinated by the horrific world and it's creatures, while the other was horrified by it's fantastic nature and ambience.
Eventually they both concluded that it was best to research and learn more about it as they found diverse ways to go home.
One wanted to stay though, he became more attached to magic, studying it and the Boiling Isles history. He realized he didn't have anything worth enough to go back to; he had his brother with him anyways.
The other, though, wanted to travel among the two realms; not settle on one as he still had a lot to experience. After a small incident he was left confused about his stand; although he still supported magic, for his own sake and his brother's.
He was later persuaded to stay.
So they built the portal door to travel fast between worlds.
They explored Eclipse Lake and found enough Titan's blood for a key. A whole crew went inside, but only one managed to go out alive.
|| Some hints;;
• Philip Wittebane vanished from the demon realm to never be seen again.
•The glitchy effect reflects 'reality checks'. It happens often on screen.
•Everyone gets art style change.
• Every instrument added is a direct reference to Belos' theme (guitar and 'heart keys' synth).
•Humbert (Little Rascal) and non coven related elements go in red.
• Blue is directly related to the Emperor's Coven.
• The performer felt it pass too quickly; the spectator witnessed it in slow motion. Both perspectives matter.
• Emperor Belos is more sensitive than you think.
• He has a reason for everything; that doesn't justify his actions.
• The Golden Guard is more determined to succeed with each second.
• That one place between the human and demon realm will be referred to as the "in-between realm".
• The two brothers are indirect parallels to Edalyn and Lilith Clawthorne. You decide which one is which.
• Emperor Belos suddenly appeared and brought order among witches.

I finally finished it!
I had to correct
a lot of frames smh
I still won't touch Belos' downfall, his journey to the controlling dictator we now know. But I assure you, everything happens for a reason.
