My first exposure to Blue Beatle was in Batman: The Brave And The Bold. Ever since then, I thought he was a cool, very underrated character.

Yeah, we accidentally added a couple images of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants while talking about the Brotherhood of Evil. That’s our bad! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Batman Brave and the Bold introduced me to Jaime Reyes and yes, he immediately became one of my favorite characters.

12:07 Black Beetle from Young Justice will forever be the best iteration of the character. He was an absolute menace in every scene he was in; like the Thawne to Jaime's Barry.

My first exposure to Blue Beetle was Young Justice and I LOVED his portrayal there. I loved the dynamic between Jaime and the Scarab. When Linkara posted his MASSIVE retrospective about ALL THREE Beetles, I fell in love with the character even more.

As many I first learned about Blue Beetle from Batman: Brave and the bold then saw him in S2 of Young justice. He was my go to playable character in Injustice 2 I’ve always enjoyed his appearance and his personality in comics and on-screen.

Who besides me first got introduced to Blue Beetle in Batman the Brave & The Bold?

As a Black man I love seeing other cultures get their shine in these films. I love seeing how the family dynamics couple with the character’s development.

A lot of people compare Jamie to Spider-Man,but I don't see it. If he's like Peter then it's only in how he zigs in every way Peter zags. Jamie trusts his identity to a lot of people,he works to plan for the future,and approaches things with a bit more of a clear head,unless something hits him personally,then he's on a rampage,although that's the case with any superhero. Jamie is more similar to someone like max steel.

I hope this movie will be an instant success. Because this Blue Beetle has so many interesting lores and has it's own deep universe, similar to Green Lantern. But we he already what happened to Green Lantern 😅

My favorite theater snacks are popcorn with a side of nachos cheese mixed with buttering flavor with the cheesy. Sahale Snacks are a hidden gem of chips best secondary snacks during the second act of the movie in theaters. Then washing down with either sprites-hi c flavor or Coca Cola Co. - Blueberry slurpee.

He's wayyy more powerful than that. He can create anything and do anything. It's wayyy better than a lantern ring. Also compared to a lantern ring his buildings or creations stay permanently if he wants, without needing concentration or will power to maintain. You just need your imagination. He has adaptative strength. Basically he can adapt to any opponent thanks to the scarab sight, that analyse your molecular structure, genetic history, energy etc and adapt to it.

When are you going to do history of the Flash Villains Mirror Master and Top since the second half of season 6 of the Flash has finished? Can you do history of the Atom, Major_Force, Captain Atom, Plastique, the Blackhawks, Rocket Red Brigade, Maxima, El-Dorado, Element Woman, Metamorpho, Mr Terrific and Plastic Man along with the history of the Villains Dr Alchemy and Abracadabra?

Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle is definitely giving me Guyver vibes here. His scarab also reminds me of Kamen Rider Kabuto (since that character also uses an insect-themed transformation device).

Events surrounding the movie are weird (between the Hollywood strikes and James Gunn announcing a full reset), but I really just want this movie to do well and popularize Blue Beetle. I love both Ted Kord and Jamie Reyes (don't really know much about Dan Garrett), but I really grew up with Jamie. He was in a lot of the cartoons I watched growing up and I read him in Teen Titans (though I need to go back and read his solo runs). He's just a great character fitting into a great mantle. On another note I love seeing Superhero adaptions finally handling diversity better by uplifting beloved characters instead of forcing their own controversial race changes or pushing tokenism. In cases like Spider-Verse they're really adding personality and diversity to these characters that go behind skin color. Makes me once again have to ask DC to MAKE A STATIC SHOCK MOVIE! Seriously, how was Milestone media founded to boost representation from underrepresented groups in comics and published through DC yet the only adaptions they have are Static Shock and Young Justice (both of which are like PEAK comic book media but still).

Blue and Gold are the best team for me, but I do like the reach tech story. And m&m's in your popcorn, I am in your debt. 🍿😁

Having seen all the MCU-movies and all modern DC-movies, I thought the Blue Beetle was the best superhero-movie ever. The actors were amazing, the balance of action and comedy was on point,the villains were deep and I loved the representation of Latino-culture. ^^
