I've never been a fan of the retconning of Magneto not being their Father, their relationship with him is what made them so interesting.

Is it weird that I like Quicksilver more than the Flash? I know Flash came first and all that, but Pietro's relationship with Wanda is just such a cool dynamic and when you take into account that Magneto is thier father, it adds layers to all 3 characters. I love the smart ass attitude and the way he pisses people off, as well as the fact that he fights more for his sister than anything else. He is honestly a really good character with a lot of layers. I also really like this relationship with Havoc in Marvel Now. To be clear, I'm referring to Barry Allen, who is also awesome, but I don't think that either of the Flash ' are as interesting as Quicksilver and Scarlet witch.

Just watched the movie a few hours ago, I have to be honest, I loved Taylor-Johnson's portrayal of Quicksilver, not because it's comic accurate (believe me it isn't) but because of how they humanized him, I know a lot of people are going to hate that but for me it was more interesting, tho the movie wasn't as great as I'd expected

Between the two life action attaptations, MCU Quicksilver is closer to the comics Fox:He is a mutant and is the son of Magneto (but I guess that is no longer comic accurate) MCU:Wanda is his twin sister, he was evil before becoming good, he wears a blue white top, has white hair, is fast but not stupid fast and his name is Pietro

Aled Davies Avengers and X-men are done by two different film companies and Fox isn't trying to match up they're timeline with Marvel's timeline. So, pretty much, yes. They're two different timelines. I really wish Fox would join the MCU, but I don't think they'll be doing that any time soon.

Carl Bloke It's corporate bullcrap because of Marvel VS. Fox. This was their way of making sure they had sole ownership of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. It's really underhanded, but hey they're now Avengers. So yeah, they got to stay in the cast.

I'd say a 8 personally, was great and all but the whole team up aspect that made the first one special has kind of worn off. Not usually a fan of 3D but I saw it in imax 3D and that was the one time it didn't just feel like a gimmick to me.

Here ya go! The twins head to Counter Earth, with the other Avengers following after. While there, they learn that Quickilver and Scarlet Witch were the biological children of Django and Marya Maximoff all along, and that they are not mutants but the result of being experimented upon from an early age as part of the next step in evolution. The High Evolutionary eventually deemed them failures, and concocted the tale about Magneto being their father in order to hide their true origins.

to bad that fox and marvel don't play well together, bc in the comic books magneto is no longer quicksilver and scarlet witch children and that they are not mutants. which is hard to believe after over 30 years of great stories of him being their father. like the u said the house of M story. In house of M they where were his children and mutants, and also at the end of that story, scarlet witch depowered mutants and her brother whom was also a mutants. It was pretty clear about them being mutants and his kids, but bc of the bad blood with fox and marvel, it was basically it was a big f u to fox from marvel about changing them to no longer be their father and mutants.
