Wait a minute. The Flood a parasite that changes the host’s physical form to help them spread while learning from said host and wants to spread and infect all into there ranks. Either Russel took the concept from Halo or its a hell of a coincidence that two separate writers in different countries created a nearly identical parasite. I love both either way ;).

Probably took inspiration from Halo. The flood were introduced in 2001

I know that The Flood can infect any species, but considering the Time Lord's immense power, and ability to regenerate. Would infecting a Time Lord actually work? Considering the Time Lords endless knowledge and great power, I'm curious as to how infecting a Time Lord would work. The same goes for a species like The Daleks or The Cybermen, which both have regular bodies inside. If a Dalek's casing was opened, and the flood infected the Dalek, what would happen?

william think of all the time the Daleks or Davros or any other enemy that was supposedly killed for good, but survived by using an emergency temporal shift. Just say a strain escaped to Neptune or something.

This feels like a more family friendly version of John carpenter's The Thing. Just one little cell from the alien transforms you into a Thing, and it can spread very quickly.

I'd say Halo's Flood would win... especially since in the Forerunner-Flood War they could literally bend physics at times and they're the Space Zombie based remnants of the beings that created all life in the Halo galaxy.

I’d say they need to rewind back to the 12th doctor’s regeneration and hire some competent writers but still keep the current actor (I’m sure she can do well with better direction and story)
