Is there really any difference between Ice Warriors, Sontarans, Zygons or even Draconians? They're all just warmongers. It's interesting though, not to mention ironic that 9 times out of 10 the old versions of these classic monsters looked more scarier and well, just better than their modern upgrades. Silurians and Zygons being best examples. Even original cybermen with those blank ghostly death masks arguably looked at least more creepy than even the cooler 80s versions.

I preferred the original sutekh and not a dodgy cgi one apart from this It was a great final we could do with the cyber men or the daleks back next season

How does the 15th doctors recent encounter with them in comics fit in with all of this?

I know the Time Lord Victorious series ended up becoming an over ambitious and somewhat complex narrative to follow with its inconsistencies and lack of availability But…I will say by far the best part of it all was the concept of the Daleks Restoration Empire. It’s such a cool idea because it’s essentially telling the story of Daleks from an alternative timeline where they never fought in the Time War. I also love all the designs of these Daleks and how they are made distinguished from the bronze time war Daleks. The Emperor and Prime Strategist were particular stand outs that I loved because they were so unique and had character to them. Also shoutout to the Daleks miniseries on KZfaq, I loved it and I don’t think it was as bad as people claimed it was. I would honestly love to see these Daleks again. xx

my earliest or first memory of Cybermen coincided with my first Dr Who scene occurring in a utilitarian location on earth. i remember them emerging from a drainage manhole in a suburban street. i was amazed to see the backdrop of British 1950s semi detached homes .

I died a little bit inside when he breathed on a dead butterfly (that shouldn't exist at that time period btw) and "magically" it came back to life 🤬

Used to love Dr who ….not anymore….i won’t bag out the current actors or writers …anything that has this new WOKE disney agendas steaming hot death touch .. PASS……I’ll not spend my money or attention towards something that’s trampling on my childhood memories of what the doctor meant too me or allow my children to be exposed too the current DR WHO Shows ideals ……I give up …I quit …I’m not coming back ..peaceful journey too you DR WHO ……wherever that may lead you

Although this is an older video I wanted to comment anyway. Although I love sci-fi I never really connected with Doctor Who. Even though it's a massive part of the show I never enjoyed the campy tone. I grew up mostly with McCoy and Baker's Who. What I do actually like is some of the lore around the show, the Cybermen, Dalek, Silurians and Sontarans have some amazing lore. I've probably watched more videos like this exploring the lore than actual episodes. Nice video.
