This is because Ultron is going to be the main villain of Avengers II: the Age of Ultron, and Ultron was never an intergalactic antagonist (to my knowledge anyway). One way to tie the two movies together is to use Thanos, the Guardians of the Galaxy's primary antagonist, but I must admit to not knowing how that would be done because the two are pretty much mutually irrelevant to their respective plots. Ronan the Accuser is going to be in the Guardians of the Galaxy film, so that might be another way to connect the two films; however, would a Kree military governor/jurist want to have anything to do with a defective android such as Ultron? As Ronan the Accuser is going to be integral to the plot, perhaps it will also introduce a fellow Kree, namely, Captain Mar-Vell, father of Phyla-Vell and Genis-Vell and lover of Elysius, the artificially created Eternal who lived on Titan. Captain Mar-Vell was a member of the Avengers at one point, so he could bridge the two movies. If we go by simplicity and appeal to the mainstream audience, then the likeliest scenario would be to have Captain Mar-Vell be in both movies. If the blue extraterrestrial humanoid corpse from which the GH352(?) drug _does_ turn out to be a Kree -- for that, please see episode 14 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- then that's all the more reason and likelier that Captain Mar-Vell will show up for either or both upcoming films.

Well this wasn't a character history, it was a team history. It's like...compare my "History of Raven" to my "History of The Teen Titans" and you have an idea. Maybe I'll individual character histories for this team one day, but for now this is the closest you're gonna get. As for the movie. I really liked it!

Malema Malema Because why would you want to kill off one of your biggest cash cows before it's even had a chance to make you all that much money? Whedon has expressed his anger over Marvel bringing back Coleson after he died in Avengers because he said it cheapens the death, and he's gone on record saying he has no plans to ever bring Coleson back to the movies because, and I quote: "to me he's dead." Unlike comics where it's normal for dead characters to constantly come back movies are different. Many mainstream audiences would be confused and possibly angry if a group or character they loved died only to pop back up and be like "hey, guys, I'm ok!" I just don't see Marvel studios doing something like that. So if the Guardians die they're gone for good, and considering how much money they've made for Marvel with one movie I don't think Marvel has any plans to stop beating that horse until it's good and dead.

My idea was that they'd incorporate that part, but I didn't say they'd use it word for word ^^;; Comic Book movies tend to take aspects of multiple parts of comic books to make one movie, so even though its Ultron who's appearing in Avengers 2, they might just merge Ultron with Thanos and do a story that is very similar. It's also been confirmed for a long time now that the events of The Guardians will lead into The Avengers 2.

Ronan the Accuser is one of Thanos's general admiral things, i can't remember what his rank is however. i do like your thought on Avengers 3 however, it makes a lot of sense.

There's honestly no point in saying "Oh, they cant do this in the movie because they've already said so and so will be the main bad guy" honestly, the Marvel cinematic universe has a slight tenancy to merge 2-3 bad guys into one. Its an adaptation at the end of the day, so just saying "they cant to X because they said Ultron will appear" honestly has no base, which is something that seems to be forgotten time and time again.

I am sorry, i meant it more as Ultron is the main baddy in Avengers 2, as the subtitle for the film is Age of Ultron, But you are right in saying Ronan could appear. i was kinda focussing on details like that. but maybe it won't be Ronan, the slated antagonist for GOTG, but the collector, or Thanos pulling even more strings. at the end of the day you are right, it is adaptation, hell for example i don't think Hank Pym is going to build Ultron I think it is going to be Tony Stark. please don't take my comment as saying you were wrong. i do like the idea of the GOTG dying in the end hoever, it would really be a nice set up to show the stakes for the rest of the MCU.

ItsSuperEffective True Marvel does bundle their bad guys in movies, I assume that is what you mean at least, but I doubt Marvel wants to play their card that soon. I do believe that Loki and in turn Thanos will have their hand in the Ultron movie somehow, but the main focus will not be on Thanos. Unless the reason Ultron is made is to protect themselves from another invasion from Thanos. Another thought I would like to add is the fact they want GotG to be more or less a standalone movie/franchise. So, killing them to show us how evil Thanos is not as strong, but still possible. Also now knowing Ronan's backstory a little I would assume that the GotG will try to stop Thanos' plan, succeed a little but fail overall. Kinda like what happened to Captain America. Either way It will be fun.
