Request: You have absolutely nailed the narration, and your delivery of clear concise historical context and evocative easily followed descriptions of the battles themselves are among the best one can find anywhere. I hope having reached this level of quality you will begin to consider exploring the application of different visual elements. Because the illustrations are so similar, I find that if I binge-watch a lot of your videos in one sitting or over a couple of days, my ability to recall visual information associated with a particular battle or series of battles becomes quite muddled. This channel has the positive “problem” of being prolific, and covers a truly amazing range of history. One suggestion might be to experiment with something as simple as adding a two colored frame around the screen that color-codes for time period and region. Included in thumbnails, an element like that might also help viewers pick out videos they are interested in if trying to focus on a period or place. Adding the names of the principles on the thumbnail in a consistent area of each thumbnail, in a particular color for each ruler or general, could also help people find what they want when _The Algorithm_ presents them with a jumbled mash of videos. Another option you could try might be adding different fonts of varying colors associated with informational elements such as time period, region, or faction. Personally speaking, I would benefit from visual marks such as a bright colored marker indicating the units you are describing that persists for longer and brighter indicators of things like axes of advance which persist on screen while a unit is moving and briefly afterward. I think that your current format does well in the visual department ,and I enjoy watching the illustrations tremendously, so I hope you will take this as constructive and that you won’t be in a rush to change the style unless you find something that really contributes. Thanks for all the hard work you have put into the content. I hope you have some time to take a few moments and enjoy the accomplishment. Cheers!

I really love your videos. But I have as a rule anyone who has ads for masterworks I unsub from. It's a really suspect "investment". I know many feel the same way about this company. If you no longer do ads for them you will keep my sub but if you keep them then you will loose me as a sub and I know you will loose others as well.

@CommonSwindler
@CommonSwindler Жыл бұрын
@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hl It’s obvious that the imperiousness attributed to her by contemporary writers would have otherwise been called “decisiveness” in a male. She was bold, intelligent, and insightful, but judged her moment badly after Lincoln. She seems to have accepted this and with her withdrawal from leading her forces directly in England in the succeeding years, she devoted herself fully to her son’s claim. Henry II would prove to be the greatest medieval English king, and one simply cannot totally extract his peerless political nous from what was undoubtedly his mother’s influence, whom he often consulted. What’s inarguable is that both Matilda, and especially Henry, stood head and shoulders above Stephen as a ruler.

That is s real achievement, because we can probably all think of a channel that has produced a similar number of videos but a good percentage of those are only worth watching once. I grew up near the ruins of Totternhoe castle, a Motte-and-bailey castle with two Baileys. I was told it was built by the Normans in the time of The Anarchy. The whole area is rich with history, it's in the doorstep of the Chiltern hills. Close to the Ridgeway - the oldest road/trail in Britain. Close to Ivinghoe beacon, an iron age hill fort which has a.xommanding view of the surrounding vale. The dunstable downs is the site of burial mounds; Saxon, Roman and neolithic apparently. The woods above Pitstone Quarry have a borde Dyke separating the Danelaw from Saxon lands. I'd say go to that area for a good walk before it's gone, because the building project from Leighton Buzzard are slowly but surely making their way accross the vale. In fact, the bottom of the downs, close to the main road is supposed to be the site of a "large" bronze age battle.
