With my knowledge of the Asaba massacre during the civil war under the watch of muritala Mohammed,it feels like justice seeing him killed in the same brutal manner those armless and defenseless men were killed at Asaba. Karma is real

Stop that nonsense, I would say it was foreign influence was involved, the western criminals never like it when small countries are doing their own thing, remember what they did to Thomas Sankara of Burkina. Thanks for not missing out the critical fact that made Biafra to fail which was that instead on reinforcing their defence around the Biafra geographical region Ojukwu ordered his soldiers to take Mid-West and proceed to take South West and Lagos! That was fatal error!!!!!!!!!! If Ojukwu had remained within the Biafra land without the tall ambition he would have succeeded. The costly mistake does not always get mentioned.

@adetayoakinmade9977, The problem with most Nigerians is that they don't know when it's appropriate to use certain words. Some may argue that what happened to the Biafra military when Nigeria soldier won the war during the Civil War was karma for his actions. Of course, as a military man, he may have experienced gun injuries at some point. However, we don't have concrete evidence about his own case, linking that to Buhari and other military officers I think they are once victims of injury from gunshots only God say it is not their time to answer the eternal calling. Therefore, the law of karma doesn't apply here. As a soldier, he is trained to carry a gun, and this is part of their training protocol.

Even though I blame Ojukwu for not planning well before declaring biafra...I know Gowon was moving fast through degree to control what happens in South East. But he should have waited source for Allies good one. Aside that I don't blame him for the war... He is a man...and what he saw till today nobody has proven him wrong... South East till treated like they are not part of Nigeria. People are quick to point finger and say igbos play victims but do not have that nerves to speak openly of the mindset of the North of thinking Nigeria is for theirs to rule . Yorubas might want to play 2nd citizen in their own country but igbo man won't accept nothing short of fairness and equity

Gowon was not a man of his word on the Aburi Accord. The whole world as he agreed to the terms in Accra only for him to reject the agreement upon coming back to Lagos. While telling Igbos that they should return back to Nigeria with no security as a people. Ojukwu had no choice after council with the elders of the East to declare independence from Nigeria. Gowon was a puppet of the North and the British. Nobody even put up a fight for him when he was overthrown.

Your report omitted the key reason for the second coup, which was merciless killing of Northern and Western Police and spiritual leaders by igbo officers, in an attempt to ensure eastern domination of the military. This is largely responsible for the civil due to his counter coup, in which Gen Ironsi was brutally killed. He was also the worst war commander, he allowed Ibrahim Taiwo to carry out the Asaba massacre. As karma would have it it too killed in a rain of gun fire by his northerner. He spent about six months in office, same length as Gen. Ironsi. Mr. Karma has no friend and has no foe, he distributes retribution in his own time.
