Great, _GREAT_ movie. Both, John Cryer and Stephanie Szostak are perfect in their parts. This has a great ending, even if it is a little twisted.

Never seen Will Sasso in a movie before. He is a gifted accomplice, wonderful casting choice. I am going to look or more movies with him in them.

I loved this movie. Yup, I’m in THAT camp. I laughed out loud a few times, and enjoyed watching all the leads, and I also thought that it was really cute throughout - and to some of the commenters, self defense isn’t murder. It just isn’t. And there are lots and lots of women in domestic violence relationships who literally do get killed by their partners every single year. So sometimes, let’s face it - it can just be really satisfying to see people get what they deserve once in a while… it doesn’t happen a whole heck of a lot, so we might as well enjoy it vicariously through a sweet movie if we can. So Thanks to all the great actors! And I never remember his name, but I always like that best friend guy. Just looking at him makes you want to laugh. He’s always hilarious.

Brilliant film! Great acting and great script! Awesome entertainment. Although it's a comedy, it's bizarre that a lot of murderers honestly believe they can just kill someone and get away with it. Jon Cryer is hilarious! Loved him in Two-and-a-half men and he doesn't disappoint in this movie

Thank you gravitas . my stomach was splitting by the 25min mark and l mean literally , l had to put my hernias belt on before l could watch anymore of it , shmaltzy yes 100% but great acting and hilarious script . just what the doctor ordered .

I know Will Sasso wasn't the main attraction of this film but I was SO happy to see Will Sasso! This was so d*mn funny.... Since Ben pulled out a gun, I have no idea why they didn't claim self-defense.

Just when I was feeling happy that I found an actual comedy it turned sour 31 minutes in. All it took was the subject of murder and I left the scene. I don't understand why people are so fascinated and entertained by murder. Very sad!

true, not only that the title of the movie comes from an episode where Alan tried to write but he gets struck by light... because he can not carry on with his script so he gets hit by a light as if he were about to be abducted this is a great movie they should have actually kept Alan as his name and then turn it into series I would have love to watch it! Bring back Charlie too!
