Hitch and Timber: The Mini Engineer Caddy.
The Mini Engineer Caddy from Hitch and Timber holds a knife, flashlight, pen, and cards all in one spot! More from the Hitch and Timber site:
-The Mini Engineer Caddy is a shrunken down version of the larger "Engineer Caddy"
Same great function in a smaller package. Add an optional Mil Spec elastic pen loop for the perfect write,slice and light.
The pen loop is made to fit Fisher Space Bullet pens, Midori Travelers, Hinderer Investigator, Kaweco Liliput or pens of similar diameter.
The back features a sleeve to fit small notebooks like the XS Moleskine Volant available in our shop. (2.5 x4")

UPDATE - I got mine today! Same colour as you. Brilliant EDC, love it 🙂👍🏻 (Prometheus Beta QR Copper; SAK Pioneer Alox; Brass Space pen that must be over 20 years old; lanyard and copper bead)

Thanks for the video....the people asked for it and you delivered, lol! Don’t think it’ll work for me tho, I carry my knife (I have the elementum also) in my pocket and got the armored summit, which I really like. I saw your video on the contour, but I just can’t pony up $140+ for a wallet. $35 is more my speed. Thanks again for the video, keep em coming!

I've been carrying an H&T "Duz all" for over a year. I can confirm the importance of having a knife with a properly fitted clip to help hold the knife in the caddy. I carry an Eastern Cutlery "Cody Scout" lockback. A wonderful knife that is quite thin. However, the leather pocket has stretched to the point that the knife can easily be shaken, or just fall, out. I will have to find a suitable knife with a clip soon. Nice video.

I put 5 pieces of duct tape -- one on top of another-- to tighten it up; problem fixed.

I bought a similar design from Hitch and Timber 3 years ago. I like the design as a thing to leave in the car. Not really so much for edc or as a wallet. So to put a finer point on things, in mine I have a Victorinox Pioneer Alox, and a tactical pen with a Fisher refill as an emergency pen. In the back pocket, I keep a couple of business cards and some emergency cash.

I’ve had a few UK things lately that I’ve sent back due to the immense disappointment I’ve had with them. Poor quality, poor attention to detail. Crap materials. I’d far sooner pick US makers now. The quality is just better.

I might should have gotten the card caddy instead, got the mini engineer. Planned on keeping big idea pocket pro in the flashlight side and keep my reylight mini in the knife side. No pen loop..hope it's not too big and holds the smaller gear good

Noice. Makes me want to get one for my Para 3 and Keybar. Do you think a keybar will fit in the flashlight compartment? I dont carry a torch.

No way. Well I guess it depends on how many keys. I have 5 keys with a spacer between every one. And the deep carry pocket clip. And I can’t fit it in. Maybe if the clip was off, 3 keys? Not sure but mine as is will not fit. I can however clip it to the pockets. Either the 2 in the front or back slot. That could be a thing.

Ive bought this in antique green but im not very pleased with it. Its a great thing but its too big to pocket carry for me. At the very least i can get away with it by carrying it in my back pocket, but i wouldn't want to sit on it, at all.

I wear Duluth jeans which have very large pockets. So it fits really nicely in them.

In your opinion, is there any conceivable way that this caddy could be stretched to accommodate a ridge wallet in the card pocket?

I would say probably not. Imo, these pocket organizers are a supplement to a minimalist wallet, not a replacement.

I don’t have a Sebenza so I can’t test it. But if it’s bigger than a regular size Bugout, then no. Won’t fit.

I reached out to them on Instagram and they said the Sebenza 31 Small with fit the Runt 2.0XL, Card Caddy XL, & the Mini Engineer Caddy 👍😎. I was lucky enough to finally place an order with them this morning. Their site is only active at 9:30AM EST for 20 minutes or so daily because of all the orders they’ve been receiving.

Looks like a well made product, maybe too large for my pants pocket, but might be nice in a jacket pocket. I see you now have the Civivi Elementum, I think I'm going to get one. Going to review it? How do you like it?

@@rickward8832 As seone who carries a buck 110 everyday, I have to say the elementum is a nice light knife. The pivot is solid and the edge holds up really well too. It has a small finger choil, but nothing like say the baby banter

I just checked to see if it would fit. It won’t fit in any of the front pockets but it might if you jam it in, which I’m not really willing to do. But it will definitely fit in the larger card packet in the back. Not well though.

Cards would fit better if you didn’t put the oversized flashlight in it. They said aaa lights. If you overstuff the thing it doesn’t work right

This is all wrong for so many reasons. It’s weird and not very convenient for edc. If you’re carrying this as wallet why would you want to pull out this giant brick every time you use your wallet? The cards are tight because you have a very large flashlight and knife. This is not minimalistic. Try a small cadet and thinner flashlight or similar items if you must carry a knife and flashlight in your wallet, you’ll have much more room for things you use everyday. Additionally the stitching will lose its integrity and your leather may last but the wallet will start to fall apart sooner than later. They should’ve used rivets and not stitching. Also with the size and how packed you made this thing the integrity will degrade faster than normal. These things are more for hipsters trying to look cool, while most got their “survival edc” education via KZfaq.

I said this is a great replacement for my wallet while at work, as it holds everything I carry in 1 convenient spot. If it’s not right for you, great! For me, I’ll continue to carry it for work purposes. Once work resumes that is.

I pretty much agree, but I found a use for mine just as a thing to leave in the car. As for the back pocket, it does work better if you don’t overstuff the front. In mine, I put a short bolt action pen and a Victorinox Pioneer Alox. In the back pocket I just keep a few business cards, an ID, and some emergency cash, maybe just a $20 bill. And it is fine. If I am out and need a multi tool, or pen it is always there. If I didn’t drive, I might just keep in a backpack or messenger bag, or briefcase.

Oh! It’s for tools! I thought it was for a crack pipe, a meth pipe, a vape cigarette, a straw to snort cocaine, and a back slot for drugs. 😳😂🤣😉 Not that you do drugs though! I have a flashlight on my cellphone. No need to carry two, but do have another one in my vehicle.

Ehhh, top grain and full grain aren't exactly equal in quality. Full grain is more expensive, from what I understand, top grain leather can't even develop a patina. Thats something that a lot of people who are into leather want. Also, top grain leather loses some of its durability due to sanding. Top grain leather is perfectly good for use, its just not "the best". I used to wonder why some leather workers charge a lot, and some sell their items for cheap. Yeah there's a reason, several actually, lol.

It’s exactly the same leather just sanded down more to get rid of the “imperfections” of full grain. Yes the extra sanding will make it less durable but not by much. Me personally I want the imperfections of full grain. But I’ll take either any day.

@@ChrispyThings Yeah but you also lose the ability to develop a patina with top grain, which really is something a lot of people who want leather products are after. Unless I have been misinformed on that? Idk, it's subjective I just feel like no patina kinda makes it a lower quality.

Top grain leather will develop a patina over time. But not as “nice” as full grain. Genuine leather will not patina.

I don’t do a lot of leather work so I can’t really answer that one. I know about the patina because I have top grain leather gear that’s years old that developed a nice patina

Having my knife in a sleeve in my pocket does not make sense to me. It's called a pocket clip for a reason. Then you clip your flashlight on the left pocket. To many instances where I've needed a knife or light with only one hand empty. Yeah let me drop what I'm doing pull out my pocket organizer lmao and then I can pull out my knife. Then I got to put it back in the organizer and then put it back in my pocket. To much unnecessary movements. Plus your gear is not easily accessible or one handed operational. It's not a complete edc without a firearm. It's a wannabedc. I edc a glock 19 gen4 mos. Equipped with trijicon rm06 red dot and surefire x300 weapons light. Corbon DPX 9mm is my round of choice. Holstered in a crossbread iwb holster with an extra 15rd magazine. Mag holster is a crossbreed owb. Weapons belt is a kore essentials. Knifes I carry are the microtech ultratech and a cold steel rajah. Flashlight is the nitecore P12GT. Leatherman squirt ps4 paired with an orange zippo and carmex. Carry a cat t tourniquet in cargo pocket. Wallet is a Johnson and Murphy. Also carry a pocket constitution. I'm a USCCA member with 1 million dollar in insurance in case of a self defense shooting. Samsung s7. Keys to a 2014 Chevrolet high country or an Audi S4.
