MisFit is there a way to save a text preset in hitfilms, i.e save the font, size and colours for later use from the click of a button

Just subbed ya,,, I was looking for TRACKING using the Hitfilm 15 Express. Came across your channel. See you have a few HFE 15 videos I'll check out though. Found one for an earlier version from a different channel. But, it doesn't see to work with 15. ??? Could be operator error though. hehe

I'm on version 5. Maybe time to hit "ok" on the update prompt XD Have they addressed the issue of in-editor playback being really chopping when transition effects and time warping is a factor?

It does really help to get the latest version! As with any free software there will be some bugs. But Hitfilm Express does a wonderful job addressing that kind of stuff when they do an update

I don't know if I can ask you, but I've got a problem with this version of HitFilm Express 15. Recently my videos on the program appears to be choppy and stuttering. I found out that after dragging a clip in the timeline, I have to right click on the source of the video in the media tab, and then click proxy. But it doesn't appear proxy! How do I found it? Thank you!

Great video. Thanks. I just downloaded HF express today. Im a beginner. May I know how to change my interface in white(default) like yours in dark gray Or dark theme like yours? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the Dark Theme for Hitfilm Express is only reserved for people who installed Hitfilm Express 13 and older (Currently on Version 15) but if you can also get the dark theme by donating $9.00 USD and get the starter pack add on from FXHome.

To get access to the Dark Theme for Hitfilm Express you have either needed to already own an earlier version of Express (Hitfilm Express 13 i believe) or you can purchase it on the FXHome webpage

You can't make your own folder in the effects tap. You can only save presets under the presets folder and 'my presets' you can however create your own folders in the media window. Just right click and select new>folder.

Dark Theme can only be access if you had Hitfilm Express 13 or older. If you installed Hitfilm after that than you have to purchase it through FXHome webpage as an add-on

How can I take a 20 sec white noise video and make it 8 to 10 hours long?

i have a hitfilm 15 and hating it. the picture duration is only 0:00:00:11 and it pisses me off that the picture has a very short duration and I can't edit its duration unlike other editors where you can edit the picture's duration. Any fix? I tried changing the frames and nothing worked. Why does hitfilm treat pictures as videos?

You can make the pictures duration as long or as short as you would like. 2 ways of doing so. 1. Import he picture you want to use. Put it into your Timeline (or comp shot) and hover your mouse over the left or right edges of the image. When you see a green bracket appear click and drag to change the duration of the image. 2 right click the image on your timeline and select Speed/Duration then change the duration to what ever value you want. hope this helps!

Why do I have large water mark. I had the older one but it stopped because of a windows update. Now i have 15 version and theres a water mark

The only way for you to have a water mark in Hitfilm Express is if you are using an effect that you haven't purchased. There will be a green add on button next to the effect in the effects tab for the ones that do not come with Hitfilm Express.

To get the dark theme you either need to purchase the starter pack from FXHome.com or have installed Hitfilm Express 13 or older.

Dark Theme only comes free with Hifilm Express 13 and older. If you Downloaded a later version than you will have to purchase it through FXHome as an add-on

What is the master track for. I uploaded a 3 minutes video and the master track was 7 minutes long. Hence I had a video with 4 minutes of nothing at the end of it. Please explain, I am whipped.

When you export make sure to export contents or move your in and out brackets and export in and out.
