In less than 1 minute I learned a tremendous shortcut, thank you very much for sharing. I have a question and I can't find anywhere how to solve it: I have a 40 minute video with multiple video clips, text, and audio tracks. Let's say I want to make a cut in the middle of the video and separate both cuts to make space and add new material in between... how can I add space between those clips and audios without having to manually select or have exported and merged everything? When I select manually I can't grab everything I need because the zoom out doesn't allow me to because there are so many tracks. And I don't want to export and convert everything to just 1 whole video because I need each element separately editable. Thank you very much in advance.

Just a quick warning, don't absolutly drown the pad in IPA as it will remove that adhesive keeping it in place. ;)

I cleaned the point where the trigger touched at the end of its travel with alcohol... but after a while the problem recurred. I cut a small piece of scotch tape and put it in that spot... problem solved! It seems to me that there is a kind of rubber there... perhaps for protection or to reduce noise, but over time that part becomes sticky. 🙂
