Have bizzfeed ever done history on native americans? Especially the natives in alaska, in ww2 natives were treated horribly. There is so much hidden history about native americans.

They're not hidden if you and I know about it. It's there for anyone interested and we only learn the basics in high school, like you learn the BASICS of chemistry, physics, biology, and are not expected to know everything.

@@AceofDlamonds I only know what i know because i went to a native charter school. They didnt teach us anything about natives in highschool. That was an elective and in the college up here it's an elective and even then what they teach is everything i learned in my charter school. I dont think a state like say. . . taxes? Would care to even give that as an elective. You don't know what you don't know. When i say hidden, i mean "hidden" from the public. Sure we can go digging if we WANT to but how many people really want to dig into horrible events that America started on. Like we all know about the small pox blankets but not everyone knows about Alaska's internment camps or boarding schools (though the boarding schools have gotten some attention in that last year) Even people who love history don't normally look at native history.

@@triscuit9074 What HS did you go to where they "didn't teach about natives"? I hear some people claim this but its easy to be selectively forgetful especially about a time in your life decades ago when we didnt pay full attention in class, we had friends and other distractions, and the plain limits of memory. In any case, not everything about every subject is learnable in a basic curriculum. You say you learned more in college GUESS WHAT? We all Learn way more in college doing special research or by ourselves searching historical archives online or even just Wikipedia. There's a lot to learn and it's not necessarily hidden in some kind of malicious way.

@@AceofDlamonds in middle school and highschool we pretty much only learn about the smallpox blankets and Pocahontas or Sacagawea. And okay, "hidden" as in not talked about because realistically its an uncomfortable topic for Americans. Like the land back topic is uncomfortable because it brings light to what happened to natives and that a lot of natives are still on reservations that have a hard time supporting themselves. (I don't know much about land back because a lot of people argue about what it means)

To think the horrors of Hitler's later power could've been avoided if that injury was somewhere other than his arm, or if he served a longer jail sentence, or if the ban on Nazi propaganda hadn't been lifted, or if someone was just like, "Hey, Adolf, that's a nice painting you're working on. Stick with that," etc., etc.

Rudolf Hess (his personal secretary in prison) would go on to become Deputy Fuhrer until 1941, when he flew to Scotland to try and meet with Churchill to attempt peace talks with the UK prior to Nazi Germanys push into the Soviet Union, though ultimately Hitler branded him a madman and he was disavowed by the Nazis.

What Hitler did was the WORST AND CANNOT BE FORGIVEN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES but he would have turned out differently. We might have gotten another great artist instead of what we actually got. His father was one of the main causes of this. So all I'm saying is treat your kids good. I'm not saying don't punish them but have some compassion cause they are the future.
