Fields are boring, but not these fields. Sit back and check it out.
New video of two different digs on two different fields.
Changed editing software recently and been trying to get the hang of it. Think it worked out very nice.

Editing is on point! Especially because you are showing the original medals, well preserved and also from war footage... transitions are also pretty smooth, liked it a lot

The overlay effect is a great idea. Very effective. Sometimes handheld footage can be uncomfortable to watch, but yours seem well stabilized. Not sure if that’s in-camera or in post, but it’s appreciated.

The camera has a build in stabilizer. But also try to keep it as steady as I can. Thanks for watching Tim!

Good job finding the seal (6:11)! It has a royal crest of Louis XV (15 February 1710 - 10 May 1774), with the phrase “FLOREBO QUO FERAR”, which means “I flower wherever planted", and it is the Latin motto of the Compagnie des Indes (French East India Company). On the other side, the seal should have a crest of that Company, which was adopted from French West India Company. The "tails" you see could be the bows held by the Native American people. In the middle it should have the Mississippi and a mound of gold, what was also seen/interpreted as the Ganges and the Himalayas. The seal is from between 1719 and 1769 (the end of the company’s charter). The Compagnie des Indes had a monopoly on fur exports from Louisiana and brought other goods from Europe to the colonies for trade (e.g., striped and plaid cotton cloths and muslins) . The company brought to Europe: spices, metals, coffee, possibly gunpowder. Ref: Davis, Cathrine, "Lead Seals from Colonial Fort St. Joseph (20BE23)" (2014). Honors Theses. Paper 2408.

I watch several metal detector channels and yours is by far the best. Love your overlays of cleaned up items and pics of the item as used or worn in history. Why would you find so many badges or medals in one field? Aren't they usually pretty rare?

Another awsome video! Keep it up. I love how you include photos of the things that you find. Really helps get a good idea of some of the things you find and what somthing is made from. Like that ring at the end, I had no idea it was from a coin. The little things that make you stand out from the others.

Hi Iron Mike. Nicely presented video. Well put together, very professional, and great finds. You’re giving me an itchy detector arm. Heading to France again next week. Had to bring it forward a month because of your inspiring footage. Good luck. Liked the macho ‘Treborious’ plug. :-) Thanks for the upload. Oh and the birdsong is a nice touch. Kind regards from Uk.

The ring appears to be some type of coin, that was made using the spoon technique. which is commonly done here in the US. You stand the coin on edge and tap it repeatedly over and over all the way around with spoon 🥄 and it will roll over like that and you can make it into a ring very cool. It take days.
