The reason Norn blew up at Rudy so hard was because Zenith raised her to be a follower of the Milis faith, so she does not condone polygamy that is why she was so mad at Rudy for cheating and wanting a second wife, but i like how everyone reminded her how much of a hypocrite she was for being mad because Paul also was a cheater and had a second wife in the form of Lilia. she idolized her dad even though he was a cheater, so it makes no sense for her to get mad Rudy. if she really despised Rudy for being a cheater, she would have to despise her dad to and hate Aisha's existence for being a product of his cheating which she doesn't.

Rudy be like, "Paul, were you perhaps thinking of taking in Ms. Elinalise and Ms. Ghislaine as your wives too...then again you're not one to plan that far ahead"...like literally on his grave...come on!

Rudy is a written character but still feels realistic Even though it's his second life he didn't suddenly become perfect he is growing day by day and that is what this story is all about. He wants to live a Fulfilling life that is what we all want . Be better everyday 😊

Fun fact all of Rudy’s children view each of his wives as their mother regardless of who gave birth to them so when Sylphie said “our child” I think it was indicated towards Roxy as meaning this child will be yours to instead of her mean hers and Rudy’s child.

Sylphy is such an angel,man…even tho Rudeus broke his promise she still accepted Roxy anyway,doesn’t make what he did any less wrong but at least it’s nice that she understands. Ngl I laughed so hard when she said she expected him to bring another woman,Mf was like “heh? 😮” lmao Very much enjoyed s2. First cour was not that good but the second one was amazing! Ever since the Nanahoshi breakdown scene this series has been fully on my radar again. The adaptation was not that great in some episodes(especially ep11) but most of the time they managed to convey the feeling and context of scenes really well

I shed some tears in the ending scene with Rudeus before Paul's grave then the illustration of Paul holding kid Rudeus. Mushoku Tensei is not just one of my favorite Isekai but rather one of my favorite anime periode. I'm eagerly waiting for season 3. Thankfully its production is officialised

It's crazy how many people are hate watching this anime. And they'll be back again next season 💀

That episode it had mixed emotions of sadness and happiness also that ending song was pitch perfect when Rudy was talking to his dad at the graveyard.

I despise harem. I hate love triangles. But honestly Rudy is one of my favorite MC, I love him because of his flaws. And in this world Rudy having more than one wife just makes sense. This is his family, and he truly loves them and they love him. Their love is so real and strong, I have no problem with it.

One did we gotta give props to is Norns Va, you could feel that raw emotion when she found out about Pauls passing , Norn became more of a Millis follower during a skipped chapter where she meets Cliff and they start talking since she feels like she cant help out in rescuing his mom. Is funny in a way with Sylpjy being cool with him getting multiple people, because she even told him he could when they got married. Next season for sure is gonna be tons of fun with some stuff answered from certain events

It was funny seing Norn trying to hit Rody with sword during their sparing and being angry at Rudy for taking another wfie a parrel when Rudy was angry at paul when he slept with Lilia beofore marrying her. Then Rudeus' talk to Paul at his grave was sweet, it was nice to hear his thoughts and I particularly like that he truly thinks of himself as Paul's son now. I also like the gust of wind that appears in the end like Paul responding to Rudeus' feelings, I hope Rudeus continues to grow as a person and now that his family is finally reunited, he will protect them in Paul's stead alongside for himself too.. I am glad a third season was announced at the end of the episode so hopefully that will come soon, I can't wait to see what more this story has to offer and I wonder if we'll finally get to the plot involving Eris or if there will be something else that takes place.

The big confrontation, I am not surprised Sylphie accepted it very easily but I am glad Norn had an outburst first because I think Rudeus needed to hear it and I don't think he would have truly understood the gravity of what he had done to Sylphie if Norn hadn't come out and said what she did. It was funny to hear Sylphie kind of diss Rudeus with love by saying that it was just a matter of time because he's a massive pervert lol, she does have firsthand experience herself after all. I felt so bad for Norn looking for her father but not being able to find her to then it leading to Rudeus delivering the news of what happened, it's sad how she had to accept the death because she knows how powerful Rudeus was so no-one could have done anything if even he wasn't able to come out unscathed.

Whether or not Hitogami was completely lying or not is an answer yet to come 👀 but let's just say Rudy isn't free and clear just because Sylphie accepted Roxy. This was still the calm before the storm. There is plenty of suffering incoming 👀 in Mushoku Tensei, no good deed goes unpunished, and Rudy will have to learn that

And I think Paul was the reason Slyphy came out how she was. He realized how when she was little Rudy was her world everything revolved around him and he knew Rudy was a Greyrat so he did that to prevent the birth of a Yandere by sending her away.

I love how this resambles the meating the family had when paul cheated on zenith, and how after that rudy was getting beat up by Paul when training, but now he's getting beating up by his sister XD

Man, what a wonderful season 2 that was. With the confirmation of season 3 I hope they take their time producing it, because season 3 is Peak mushoku tensei for me. I have read the LN and season 3 content has my favorite moments of the series which they HAVE to do justice. I'm excited to watch your future analysis as always

Seeing norn yell at Rudy only to stop when she saw his arm was something I’ve been waiting for. The episode was fantastic.also. Also I really liked long haired Sylphie (also best girl) Fun fact: Sylphie is referred to as white haired mom and Roxy is referred to as blue haired mom :)

It's funny how Sylphy doesn't consider Roxy (or Eris) a threat, but the one person rudeus would never go after, she is paranoid about being a threat, Nanahoshi 😂

Now that Rudy knew what would happen, if we look back, Human God help Rudy in a big way. In just 2 years, Rudy met his childhood sweetheart again and had a child, reunited with almost all of his family member. The key is Nanahoshi, she was the one who knew about the teleportation circle that would shorten Rudy's trip to save his mother. Now imagine if Rudy went for his mother instantly, not only would he wasted 2 years just to travel there and back, but he would most likely lose another year try to explore the teleportation dungeon since he would not have access to the book at the magic academy, all that just so that he would die in the fight against Hydra because he would not be as strong since he did not went to the magic academy.

To me it actually feels like him losing his hand was a benefit to him, shows the severity of the threat they faced

This might be the episode, that gave me the biggest rollercoster of emotions ever. Also got major flashbacks to the Beggining of Mushoku Tensei, when they endded this season with his child.

The biggest thing is Roxy wasn't just anyone Sylphy knows Roxy has always been important to Rudy. Sylphy saw that Roxy looks at Rudy the same way she herself does. She happy to find someone who sees Rudy the same way as she does

Man god telling Rudy not to go and instead go study teleportation was the best advice, otherwise Rudy never would have gotten the teleportation book. He never would have found mom and him and dad would have eventually met their end going in circles in the labyrinth. If man god would have told Rudy to go after he had the teleportation book, Rudy still would have lost his hand and his dad would have died thus Rudy would have blamed man god for it. Rudy had figured this out anyway when he said to himself, “if I go I will regret it and if I don’t got I will regret it”.

and what's crazy is that most people hate Rudeus because he is a flawed character they are used to the isekai where everything is peachy but here is a character who actually has issues

Nah cause I reckon Paul doesn't die if Rudy doesn't go. They wouldn't find the entrance to the Hydra and go through the other teleporter. If they cleared the dungeon that way and still couldn't find her then he wouldn't have any leads and likely return home, I think even if he did still try to find her ultimately he'd have 2 daughters, a son a wife and grandchild which would help him deal with the grief of losing Zenith so I reckon Paul actually ends up better here. Zanith is obviously never found but that's better than trading Paul and his arm. Finally and this is a bit of a spoiler I heard so if you don't want to hear it then don't read: Roxy would have also survived because apparently Old Rudeus tells our Rudy that she did, she was just saved by someone else and fell in love with him instead. So all in all, the result would probably be the best. Edit: Also Norn never fails to annoy me, again she was about to rip into Rudy for letting his dad die asking if he actually tried. Like naah you b, I wanted to see my dad get chopped in half.... Bro I hate that kid.

Bright and more tougher things ahead for Rudy but for now i happy that he is happy with the results regardless how others may feel good season 2 overall all for me 🤌

without going to far into things not covered in the show yet: Rudeus sets the foundation for his demise with his choices made during his life. Almost anything Hitogami says is to prevent threats to himself from popping up. This specific advice given to him was 100% not in favor of Rudeus and was purely self protection. He doesnt want Rudeus to form his family

3:02 that’s the one thing I loved about the second part of the season; it’s the highlighted changing dynamic between Rudy and Paul and how much Rudy has grown up. It still doesn’t change how much the death of Paul and the reveal of Zenith’s mental state felt like a kick to the balls.

Eris next season. Also Oldeus! I heard there was going to be a OVA catching us up with what’s been happening with Eris

This was such a good finale. While there were some ups and downs for Rudy. Rudy is moving forward. And he’s got a second wife. So not all things are very bad. If anything it is just a start for Rudy for his new journey.

The story and character development of season 2 was phenomenal and definitely does take a big leap up from the great character development they started in season 1. That said, I still get so by the drop in artist talent between the seasons. I'm not saying art is the only thing that makes an anime good and I feel legit bad for even getting hung up on it myself. But season 1 was such spectacular eye candy that season 2, by contrast especially, just felt like such a let down... BUT, I will say, at least because of the direction the story went in in season 2, a more slice-of-life centric arc in general, it ended up helping a lot in terms of masking the lower production quality. And they at least stretched their budget to hire great artists for episodes that really deserved it. Or, it was more like a single episode tbh lol, but it was so visually stunning and good that it alone kind of makes up for the lack thereof throughout the rest of the season IMHO lol. Lastly I'll just add, personally I've become okay with the idea of Rudy getting a harem eventually. The changes they made in episode 23 helped warm me up to the idea. BUT, I REALLY didn't like the way they went about actually telling the family and asking Sylphie and just that whole scene in general. I'm willing to accept it of course, it wasn't overly terrible, but personally, I believe it could've been handled better. That's not to say anything about Norn's role in the scene though. Her character killed it and kind of saved that scene for the most part, at least for me anyway. So yeah... I can NOT wait for season 3 now...

I love this episode. I wanted Sylphie to get angry but that's because I didn't expect Aisha and Norn to be here. I just wanted reality of what he did thrown into his face which is exactly what Norn delivered. There is so many things I like about this episode. It was brilliant how they haven't shown Sylphie's face since Rudy's confession until she herself started talking, it created that sense of anxiety about what she thinks of it. Other thing was when Norn screamed "Millis would never allow taking two wives", as she said that camera showed Aisha. It was super fucked up for her to say in front of Aisha so I'm glad she was called out later. Faces Rudy and Norn did when Sylphie said she expected it was matter of time until he brings another woman were hilarious. Rudy looked like he couldn't believe Sylphie would suspect him of cheating but Norn's face were saying "But you actually did tho" XD Also it was very funny that Norn and Rudy had exactly the same expression on their faces after Sylphie said that it's alright. They might have been screaming at each other just a second ago but they are still siblings. Another thing I loved about this episode were parallels it had with episode where Paul cheating is discovered. I noticed two things, it's not a lot but I believe they are not accidental. When Norn started going after Roxy Rudy tried to intervene but she screamed at him to shut up the same way as Zenith screamed at Paul to shut up when he tried to say something when she was talking with Lilia. Second thing I noticed is that in Paul episode right after the talk there was scene with sword training between Rudy and Paul, in current episode right after the talk there was sword training between Norn and Rudy.

I love this anime it has everything you need for a real story with an actual plot and makes you want more. This story needs to be told and finished properly and the fact i have watched bleach from the beginning and one piece i start in the early 200 i can wait too see a good conclusion to a good story

Man I love this anime, people can say what they want online, but watching Rudy changing and becoming a better version of himself through each season and episode is really something else. Great job to the author and the anime staff! 👏👏

Great episode. The aftermath of pauls death was handled greatly. Norn attitude had me heated because when she was talking the camera 100% pointed towards aisha and I was pissed. Goad the anime pointed that out and goad norn understands.

The things I didn't like between the end of last episode and this episode was how Rudy timed everything. First asking Sylphy first before taking a second wife, thank God Roxy made talked sense. Next was dropping the 2nd wife bomb after the heavy Paul is dead and zenith is a cabbage with no time breathe mentally. Even though Sylphy was open to Rudy taking concubines before this, Norn was spittin' nothing but facts.

See this episode cemetes for me why Sylphie is best girl and best wife for me, tell me anoy of the other wife options would have reacted this well, esspecially Eris (Who while i love) would likely have pucnhed Rudy into the sky.

I've got two thoughts on Man God's advice here. 1) He knew Rudy was always going to do the opposite of what he said, because Rudy was mad about Paul's rescue efforts coming up short while he was playing around and having fun. He found practically everything he needed in the University of Magic to help him rescue Zenith, after all. 2) Man God isn't omniscient. He doesn't seem to know what Rudy will do (he was pleasantly surprised when he tried to recruit the pet snatchers, rather than turn them in for a bounty, for example). Perhaps, like Orstead, he can't see ANY of the outsiders past or futures. So he wouldn't know that Nanahoshi had the teleporter gate's mapped to help him get there soon enough to save Roxy, or perhaps anyone else. He would have missed his Child's birth, and whatever else might happen over the two-to-three years he'd be gone.

Where do I begin? As far as final seasonal episodes go this ending for season two of Jobless Reincarnation was perfect. Just perfect, down to the most minute detail. No seriously that’s my opinion. The season as a whole was amazing. I am SO glad Sylphie handled the harem situation with so much sense, logic, maturity, and care. She didn’t yell, she wasn’t angry, she even knew it was an eventual canon event. If anything she treated like getting a shot at a hospital. You know it’s coming, then it happens, and then afterwards you’re like “aight then”. 10/10 season. All that’s left to say is, when Eris?

Well, there's a small chance he might not have lied. Supposedly he can't see anything pertaining to Orsted, he may not have had the knowledge that the teleporter was an option so only had the information if Rudy had taken the normal route

I think Hitogami did the right thing not saying anything to rudy. It probably would have ended more poorly if: A. He knew paul would die. B. He expected to save roxy and make her his wife. C. He knew what state Zenith would be in when he rescued her.

HAHA, Sylphie was already prepared for Rudy to bring another woman. Freakin Rudy was surprised while Norn just looks even more disappointed HAHA.

The first half was slow, but I LOVED S2 as a whole. So much growth and seeing Rudy genuinely happy with Sylphie was awesome. I figured Sylphie would be fine with Roxy as a second wife, given her comments before, but it was still such a great scene. Norn, in a way, is really annoying, but I agree that she's written so well that it's easy to understand her thoughts. Her painful acceptance at what happened with Paul was heartbreaking, but so wholesome

Norn was lived in Millis for as long as she can remember and was with her grandparents on Zeniths side a lot. So it makes sense for her to be pissed. What bothers me is that she is the one trying to throw Roxy out. Didn't even say a word to Sylphy. She has no business meddling with Roxy,Sylphy and Rudeus releationship and forcing her religion upon others.

What's best is purely a matter of perspective.
